The Group was having fun. Even when they were not swapping partners, they loved their time together. The intimacy only added a cherry on top. They shared their families with one another, keeping their special activities private. However, an astute observer would, in fact, notice that the flirtations were a little out of the ordinary and was embraced by each member of The Group. Yet no one outside of The Group suggested it was anything other than adults having a good time with good friends. It was obvious to anyone within earshot that The Group was a collection of intelligent, humorous, spirited, and fun-loving folk.

During dinner one evening, a dinner unusual only in that each couple of The Group attended, the conversation began to focus on hosting a swinger party. They agreed that Eric and Kim had the ideal venue, one that included all the trappings of the swinger lifestyle. They even had a swing, a sex swing. Eric and Kim checked their flying schedules and found they had no Saturday night open anytime soon. They suggested Skip and Ansley host the party, and they would host the next one. Everyone else checked schedules, and a common Saturday night was found in the near future. A plan was falling into place. The party planning moved forward, and duties were assigned. Skip and Ansley were assigned ice-breaking games.

Later that week, Skip found a little time to research the internet for flirty and/or sexual games. Ansley helped, and together they settled on several games that would provide for introductions, would certainly break the sexual ice and would encourage a lot of fun. They also established a superlative contest with sexual prizes awarded by popular vote. The two of them laughed hysterically at the possibilities when they were determining the categories. Finally, they agreed on the award for Best of Show: Slut du Jour (woman) and Stud Muffin Horndog (man). Stud Muffin was Ansley’s idea; Horndog was included at Skip’s insistence. There were many fun categories abandoned for the sake of simplicity; they wanted to keep it simple and sexy.

Each couple of The Group invited a swinging lifestyle couple they knew and that the others did not. That couple was asked to invite a couple as well. It made for an interesting evening of (mostly) very attractive people flirting, kissing, touching, and levity with a decidedly sexual overtone. Sexual tension was not stealthily lurking below the surface; it was in full battle dress and on the attack.

After drinks and hors d’oeuvres, the games began. First up was a game Skip and Ansley invented: Cop A Feel. The men and women were temporarily separated, and each group was given a bowl containing paper slips that had a number written on it. The numbers were the same in each bowl. From a third bowl of matching numbers, Skip selected a slip of paper. Ansley advised the women of Skip’s selection; Skip told the men. The selectees (those with a matching number) were blindfolded and led into a common area, where they were placed back to back. They were told they must keep their heels touching, and that they could not remove the blindfold unless they guessed who it was behind them. They were informed that anything else was fair. That was it; those were the only rules. They had no clue who it was behind them since they probably had never seen them before that night. Who cared? The fun was in the contortions they put themselves into while they were reaching around, feeling the person behind them, occasionally halting to savor a special place. It was quite hilarious to see adults playing such a juvenile game. What fun it was for all – the viewers as well as the participants.

Next up was The String Game. Ansley found it on the internet; it was a team elimination contest. Guests were divided equally into four lines (teams), each line alternated male and female. The first person in each line was given a long string with a key tied to each end. The rule was simple: the key must be passed all the way down the line by passing it inside at least the outer layer of clothing. When the start was called, the hilarity ensued.

Men and women who had never even seen one another prior to mere hours before were figuring a way to pass their key without
