Enjoy this collection of short stories I published on Devon’s Delights, my publication on Medium. These were written as part of a March Madness Challenge with some other erotica writers aimed at tackling different tropes, keeping the word count between 500-1500 words. I had a lot of fun trying on different writing styles and characters than what I usually write. I might have to expand some of these stories into fuller books! The courtroom was in a brouhaha as the verdict was laid out, and the defendant was convicted. The trial had lasted nearly two months, garnering some national attention and incessant local coverage.

Peter Hitchcock slammed his briefcase shut. He’d played hard, and in this instance he hadn’t won. Helena Lee, the prosecutor who’d been on his ass for well over five months, shook hands with the rest of her team, and gave him a look across the room. She walked out to talk to a few reporters, and he gave a few words to his client before heading out the back way of the courthouse. He was tired.

The cop bar was more empty than usual, which made it all the more annoying when Peter spotted Helena, his nemesis of the past number of months, sitting at the bar with a beer.

Why? was all he could get out as he walked over and plopped down on the stool next to her. You had to come here?

Helena winked. I know this is a haunt of yours, and I thought if I saw you I could have a word.

Peter hailed the bartender who knew what he drank to bring him. You came to gloat?
