My name is Sophie Manik. I am a young professional with a bachelors of science in English Literature and Special Education. I am a special education teacher, however, outside of my daily work, I greatly enjoy writing and spending time outdoors. The time I spend outdoors often inspires me with its unique beauty and the photos I take to keep.
This work is dedicated to expressing the beauty found across all our national and state parks. These environments are protected areas home to beautiful hills, mountains, and water bodies that support essential wildlife, allowing our ecosystems to function. Proceeds from the sales of this work will be donated to our National Park Service to support continued protection and enjoyment of valuable environmental resources.

I am a young professional with a degree and certificate in English Literature. Writing is a hobby of mine, especially poetry. I have joined here to begin the process of publishing and marketing my work to a broader audience.I currently have just published my first book, A Weeping Woman’s Witchcraft —- written to inspire people who have dealt with mental illness to accept their emotions and use to them create something positive and potentially empowering.I hope this sample of my work will be the start of reaching out and connecting to a bigger audience.
