What does the Bible say about these Weather Disasters we are currently facing that have been so devastating these past few years?

Here is what the Bible has to say:

Luke 21:11

"And there will be earthquakes in various places, and famines, and pestilences, and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven"

Luke 21:25-28

Verse 25

"And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring."

Verse 26

"Mens' hearts failing them from fear and expectations of those things to come which are coming onto the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken."

Verse 27

Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory

Verse 28

"Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads for your redemption draweth nigh"

Mark 13:7-8

Verse 7

"But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars do not be troubled; for such things must happen but the end is not yet."

Verse 8

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles.  These are the beginning of sorrows."

Matthew 24:5-8

"For many will come in my name saying 'I am the Christ; and will deceive many.

And you will here of wars and rumors of wars.  See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows."

Matthew 24:27-28

Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it. For as the lightening comes from the east and flashes to the west so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together."

1 Thessalonians 5: 2-3

"For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.  For when they say 'Peace and safety!' then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman.  And they shall not escape."

2 Timothy 3:1-9

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:  For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers. disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.  And from such people turn away!  For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women laden down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all as theirs also was."

Nahum 1:2-15

God is jealous, and the Lord avenges and is furious.  The Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and He reserves wrath for his enemies.

The Lord is slow to anger and great in power and will not at all acquit the wicked.

The Lord has His Way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and dries up all the rivers. 

Bashan and Carmel wither, and the flower of Lebanon wilts.

The mountains quake before Him. The hills melt. And the earth heaves at His presence.  Yes, the world and all who dwells in it. 

Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger?  His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by Him.
