OPTIMISM IS ESSENTIAL TO ACHIEVEMENT, AND IT IS ALSO THE FOUNDATION OF COURAGE AND TRUE PROGRESS.
~ NICHOLAS M. BUTLER
Welcome to the job interviewing workbook! Typically, finding a job or starting your career can be frustrating, stressful and often soul-sucking, but having a clear strategy can make the process easier.
In the last six years, I have coached many clients to land their dream job. During that time, I noticed patterns in the type of questions being asked and the most common interview styles. I have gathered this information along with tips and strategies to make you more equipped to handle any question. Being prepared is key to feeling confident.
This comprehensive workbook is designed for both native English speakers and ESL students. The questions have been gathered from working with people from around the world, which have reported to me the questions they were asked and the interview style. The companies ranged from well-known multinational corporations to start-ups.
This workbook will look at the different types of questions and how best to approach them. There is space to jot down notes, and I have included some examples.
I suggest beginning by ensuring that your resume and cover letter are up-to-date and free from any errors. You may want a service or professional to review these documents for you. After that, start applying for your dream job!

Beginning the job interview process is like stepping into a boxing ring. It's long, gruelling and you often take many hits. Your challenge is to remain positive and confident in your abilities.

The three types are: Basic, standard questions such as what are your strengths, tell us about yourself and what are your goals? The second type is technical questions. For example, you might be asked to do a sample task or asked questions about your skills specific to your job.
The last type is behavioural or scenario questions. These questions are often the most difficult and need preparation. Behavioural questions will ask you about specific incidences when you demonstrated a competency. An example would be, tell us about a time you handled a conflict with a colleague.
This workbook will primarily focus on standard and behavioural questions. However, there is a section for you to document the most common technical questions for
