PREFACE
Why read this?
Well, you are already in a unique position.
You’re likely the only person investing this amount of time to prepare for the job you’re interested in.
Just from that, you’re ahead of the curve.
You can skip the rest of this preface. I’m going to share my background (and why that might make me worth listening to). If you don’t care and just want the good stuff, now is the time to move on.
This book isn’t about me, it’s about you. But this might give you some insight and perspective about what you’re about to read.

As an Executive Recruiter, I helped find the right person for a job. I then coached the candidate to present in the best way possible to the potential employer. This meant highlighting their best skills, improving bad interview habits.
(how this helps you - I know how to help exemplify your best skills, align your talents with an employers needs, and how to prep talent - you - for an interview)

When I was a Search Firm Owner, I learned more about what goes on behind the scenes on the hiring side. My clients - employers - candidly told me what they wanted, and didn’t want. I was then tasked with making the perfect match.
(how this helps you - I’ll give you insight on what employers want, look for, and what causes them to back away from, or passionately pursue candidates

After that, I was hired as The Director of Talent Acquisition for a conglomerate of quickly growing companies. I personally screened thousands and thousands of resumes, interviewed thousands of applicants, and made countless decisions to hire, or not hire candidates.
(how this helps you - I have seen about everything happen during job interviews - (that’s for another book). From writing job descriptions to help attract applications, to saying, you’re hired
- I know what it’s like to be on the HIRING side of the process. The opposite side of the table as you will be at your upcoming interviews.
This experience exposed me to good, bad, and ugly interviews and I have the data on what helps candidates look great, stand out, perform well and get offers)

Finally, as the Host and Creator of The Job Interview Experience Podcast & Founder of Candidate Club I’ve connected with job seekers around the world and interviewed industry-leading professionals in the hiring and HR industry. Candidate Club is an online interview prep platform.
And it turns out, it works. I receive emails on a daily basis sharing that my interview prep resources improved interviews, helped receive bigger offers and accept dream jobs. Seriously - I have hundreds of screenshots of success/thank you
