About this ebook

From International Bestselling author J.A. Belfield comes an intriguing and sensual romance serial ...

Episode Four: Chase deals with his strangest case yet. Thankfully, there's little Chase loves more in his job than bringing a client out of their self-constructed shell and introducing them to a world of sexual possibilities—especially if the client in question is Abi O'Shay. With every session he spends with her, though, Chase risks losing control.

Series Synopsis:

Chase Walker: Founder of C.W. Consult. Sex therapist extraordinaire.

And, without question, always in control.

After years of schooling his emotions, Chase takes pride in his self-composure and firm lack of commitment. It takes only one, fresh-faced redhead in need of his services for all of that to fall to pieces.

Abigail O'Shay is everything Chase isn't. Sweet. Innocent. Pure.

Chase has never wanted anything more.

Except, if that whole therapist-client barrier isn't enough of an issue, Chase's own demons are only too happy to bury the fantasies he entertains for his latest client.

To those who tell me yay when my head’s telling me nay …

You’re top of that list, Sweet Cheeks.

    EPISODE 4

Chase hadn’t sat since he’d arrived at the office. Partly from the jittery energy buzzing through him. Mostly because his arse hurt too fucking much, despite Jones’s best efforts to ease any discomfort. So, when the tippety-tap footsteps of the girls broke through from the main entrance, he was on his toes and striding as best he could before they’d even reached the front desk.

They both stared at him, as he thrust into the reception. Probably because he walked like he had a hot poker up his ass.

Raelyn’s eyebrow made a slow journey toward her dark hairline. Rough night?

Ignoring her, he nodded toward the desk. A silent command for them to get there already. I need a mobile number for Abi O’Shay. Stat.

He spun away and hobble-marched back into his office. Where he couldn’t sit down. Something he refused to admit was his own bloody fault.

Within a few minutes, Samantha joined him, creases across her brow and confusion in her eyes. Rae told me last night that Abi O’Shay walked.

Chase nodded and beckoned for the slip of paper in her hand. I’m going to fix it.

Why? she asked, her frown deepening. We don’t have to fight for clients. They come to us. Isn’t that what you said not long after we opened?

Because she deserves this, he said, snatching the paper free from her hand. When she didn’t take the hint, he turned away from her, rounded his desk, and sank down onto an arse that really didn’t want to support him. Hiding his wince, he gritted his teeth against the burning pain and grabbed up the receiver of his office phone, the stare he sent toward Sam pointed enough for her to get the message. He pretended not to notice the muttering beneath her breath as she headed for the door.

Half-limping, Chase ducked back out into reception feeling a whole lot lighter, and bee-lined for the curved desk that hugged his two-woman teammates. They both quit in their mumbling, and in their key tapping, as he leaned over the desk toward them.

I need you to get some paperwork together.

Rae’s eyes narrowed. What kind of paperwork?

The kind of paperwork a client would fill in when their treatment is being put through the NHS.

Suspicion all but spat from the eyes of the two women. Since when did the National Health Service pay for sex therapy? Sam asked.

Chase’s lips popped with his expelled breath. They probably don’t.

Then, where are we supposed to find the paperwork for it? Rae asked.

    Make some.

    What? they said together.

He nodded toward the screens in front of them
