Clubs were always warm, but this one was particularly warm.

Kyle was sweaty. He'd been dancing all night, so that made sense, but he was used to dancing for hours and it never made his skin feel this flushed and itchy before.

He'd been getting a lot of attention that night, with more than one beta sliding in to grind against him as he danced. There were no alphas there yet, not until later when the omegas had a chance to scurry home if they wanted.

Kyle should be leaving soon, but he was buzzing with energy.

You should get out of here with me, a beta said, grabbing Kyle and giving his ass a firm squeeze. Kyle pushed away from him and slipped into the crowd. He had no interest in going home with a beta. Especially not such a weak one like the one that had been hounding him all night. Kyle may have been an omega, but he had standards.

He thought about stepping outside for a minute, but that meant leaving the thrum of music and the dance floor and he decided against it. He grabbed a cup of water and chugged it, trying to do something about how warm he was feeling. It didn't seem to help much though.
