The Case of the Missing Heirloom

    Chapter 1

Mrs. Matherine Folk was behind the counter of her coffee shop, talking to one of her regular customers, Ms. Johnson. Suddenly,

Mrs. Matherine noticed something was missing from the shop. She scanned the area, searching for the missing item. Finally, she realized that her family's heirloom vase was gone.

Ms. Johnson, did you see anyone suspicious in here? Mrs. Matherine asked.

No, I didn't see anyone. What's missing? Ms. Johnson replied.

My family's vase, the one that's been in our family for generations. It was right there on that table,

Mrs. Matherine decided to confront the new employee first. She invited him to her office and began questioning him about the vase.

Listen, I know you're new here, but I've heard that you've been showing an interest in my family's vase. Do you have any information about its whereabouts? Mrs. Matherine asked.

I don't know anything about the vase. Why would I take it? the employee replied.

I don't know, that's what I'm trying to find out. Do you have any enemies, anyone who would want to frame you for something like this? Mrs. Matherine asked.

I don't think so. I'm just trying to make a living here, the employee said.

Alright, well, thank you for your time. If you think of anything, please let me know, Mrs. Matherine said.

Next, she decided to pay a
