    Late that Morning

    I remember that cold February morning. I somehow managed to make room for myself in the packed lift. Then a woman standing next to me spilled the plastic cup of hot coffee she was holding in her hand, and the coffee fell on me. The woman was endlessly apologetic.

    Reading the expressions of infinite regret on her face, I just said, It is all right. Never mind.

    But inside my mind, I heard the echo of the word, which I often use when some work goes bad. And that word was Annihilate!
