Dreams, Faith, and Stranger Things
()
About this ebook
Dreams, Faith, and Stranger Things is actually a conglomerate of four short books.
The first short book is Dreams, Faith, and Stranger Things. "Dreams" were dreams that while I was asleep came true as soon as I woke up. "Faith" is about my spiritual experiences with God, accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, repenting from my sins (which were many), being water baptized, and being baptized by the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as well as having two encounters with angels. "Stanger Things" are the very evil malevolent events in my life (Ephesians 6:10-18).
The second short book is John Said, "I Don't Have to Go to Church to Worship God!" Jane Said, "I Do Have to Go to Church to Worship God!" John keeps producing different excuses not to go to church. Jane produces many reasons to attend church. Finally, Jane hands everything over to God through the power of prayer and sets the correct example by attending church regularly (Joshua 24:15).
The third short book is The Doctrine of the Trinity. Many, Christians today don't understand who their God really is! Do we have one God, or do we have three separate Gods? The Trinity is defined as "one God in three Persons." This third book was written so that you will truly understand the truth about the Trinity (Matthew 3:13-17; 28:18-20; John 14:26).
The fourth short book is Crowns. From tyrants throughout history to King Saul and King David, from Stephen, the first Christian martyr after the crucifixion of Christ, to the five heavenly crowns, from the crown of thorns to all crowns being laid down before the throne of Almighty God (Revelation 4:3-5, 9-11).

First Short Book: Dreams, Faith, and Stranger Things
Dreams, Faith, and Stranger Things
Dreams
I am now sixty-eight years old as of February 2022, and I have had thousands of dreams throughout my life, most I forgot right away when I woke up. Dreams can be either good or bad. My own short right-to-the-point definition of a dream is A dream is good, and a nightmare is bad.
When I was seven and eight years old in second and third grades in 1961–1962, I've had many nuclear war nightmares about nuclear bombs exploding all around in San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. Post World War II during the Cold War
between the USA and USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) with President John F. Kennedy (1961–1963) and Nikita S. Khrushchev (1953–1964), we had nuclear emergency drills. These drills took place at my elementary school, Highland Park Elementary School, on 635 Rigsby Avenue here in San Antonio. We were told to get under our little school desk in case of a nuclear attack—as if that would really help. Thank God that this never happened! To this day, as I'm driving on Loop 410, I still look to downtown San Antonio to see if it's still there.
In March 2022, with the Russian invasion into the country of Ukraine by the Dictator Vladimir Putin, my nightmares about nuclear war have returned. I guess that this is my PTSD. I am sure that many of the Ukrainian people are going to have PTSD. Pray for the Ukrainian people. Pray that there will never be a nuclear war.
I have had three real dreams in my lifetime. These dreams to me were much more than just a dream. To me personally, these dreams were real.
My first real dream was about my white-and-brown Border Collie named Lassie.
I got this dog when I was young, about six years old. I was the only brat in my family—I mean I was the only child in my family, so my dog Lassie was my best friend for many years. Many more years passed, and I joined the Southern Pacific Railroad at the age of twenty-two in July 1976. After about three years on the railroad, in 1979 I was asleep in a hotel room in Glidden, Texas. Glidden was a small town, and it was the layover town between Houston and San Antonio for the Southern Pacific Railroad trainmen and engineers to get rest, food, and sleep. When I was asleep, one night my dog, Lassie, came to me in a dream to let me know that she had died. When I woke, I called my mother and she said, Lassie just died.
For a dog, she had a good long life of about nineteen years. I believe that my dog, Lassie, had a soul because she came to me in a dream when I was located 120 miles away in Glidden while my mother, Elizabeth McCullar, and my dog, Lassie, were in San Antonio.
My second real dream was in 1982. I had a Carlson Glastron twenty-foot silver jet boat with a Ford 460 motor that I named The Silver Surfer.
I was having a wiring electrical problem, and I was working on this problem all day long. At the end of that day, I was exhausted. That night I slept well, and I had a detailed dream that I repaired the wiring electrical problem. When I woke up, I remembered exactly how I fixed the wiring problem in my dream. I went outside in the morning, and I fixed my boat's wiring electrical problem using the exact fix that I had from my dream.
My third real dream was in December 1989. My grandfather Jess Author Mullins Sr. and I were very close. Not only was he my grandfather, but he was also around to take the place of my father. He was my best friend, and he called me my little buddy,
and I called him Poppoo.
He also taught me how to fish and hunt. We lived at Lake LBJ on 262 East Lakeshore Drive, Sunrise Beach Village, Texas, for twenty years from age five to twenty-five. My grandparents' house was only about five houses down from President Lyndon B. Johnson's lake vacation house (President Lyndon B. Johnson, 1963–1969). In the early sixties, there were not many people living there at Lake LBJ. President Johnson must have known my grandparents because he came to visit them several times. President Johnson and two Secret Service agents would
