Time and time again, many of us have heard that “Faith” is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Throughout this book, she will share that faith must have action which brings results. We must believe by faith to trust God to be our Provider and that He is limitless and All things are possible. She is a second generation member of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC). She was born, and reared in the Church of God in Christ. She was called into the ministry, accepted my calling, and was given a full scholarship to attend Charles Harrison Mason Seminary. The scholarship included room, board, tuition and a stipend. Upon completion of my seminary education, the church provided her with an Endorsement, qualifying and authorizing her to serve as a Chaplain in the United States Army.
This great opportunity enabled her to become the Army’s first for many years: the first female Chaplain promoted to Major, the first female Chaplain to obtain the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and the first female Chaplain to serve twenty years with full retirement benefits. Upon her retirement from the Army, she studied Judaism and Pauline literature at Harvard University School of Divinity, Cambridge, Massachusetts for one year. While at Harvard, her husband and she purchased a thirty-six foot Swinger motor home and lived in it for the academic year and were led by God to use the home for God’s use and for God’s glory. The home is called ‘God’s House on Wheels’. It is the means by which the lost are found, showered, clothed, fed, transported, counseled and given the Good News of Jesus Christ. Shortly after her return to Columbia, South Carolina, she became Pastor and Founder of New Jerusalem Interdenominational Church for fifteen years.
Currently, she is Pastor Emeritus. She is thankful to God and those servants that He has used to bring her joy unspeakable. This book is written to tell others about God’s mighty acts in her life and hopefully it will inspire others to trust in God and to lean not to your own understanding.view less
