To know Jesus

Is to be set free

Remember the sacrifice

Jesus made for you and me

When I pray

Do I put God in a box

Or do I fully believe

Is that so unorthodox

Today I choose to grow

And I am going to fully believe

I pray in God’s will

Not in what I perceive

But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Keeping His love near

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done.

God is patient

And He is kind

Not wanting you to perish

Or be left behind

So live each day

In His glory and grace

Drawing closer to God

And His heavenly face

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,

Titus 2:13

Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you toward repentance?

The Lord blesses us each day

But to live this day in God’s plan

God loves me

Yet there is discipline

Discipline with love

Is what He gives

And the desire to be like Him

When I became His

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

I live each day

Searching for the next big thing

But emptiness and desire
