Is this going to cause conflict in the marriage? Will the couple be welcomed back into the valley, or will the rumors start again and divide them? Will Aaron be able to provide for the family, or will he need to stay in the city while Julianna goes back. How can the couple remain in peace with one another if a solution does not create serenity? Dominic meets up with the couple. Is this going to be a nice reunion, or is it going to cause more issues?

Thank you to my husband, Kyle, for being so patient and understanding of my time away from him during my writing time. I would also like to thank my pastor for giving me good advice. Thank you to all the individuals who deal with me on a day-to-day basis and provide me with some visual and audial creativity.

Thanks be to God for giving me the patience and devotion toward focusing on all that He allows me to do. Everything is due to His miraculous intervention. He has kept me from death more than once, and I know I can do anything put before me. I also give thanks to my father who told me that I can do anything I put my mind to.

Thank you to the publisher, editor, reviewers, and all involved in helping bring my short stories to the public.

    Chapter 1

    The Wedding and Honeymoon

Julianna and Aaron were finally getting married. It would take place in the valley among their friends and family. Aaron’s old coworkers and Julianna’s family and friends were excited to see them again. Many of the old crowd came to welcome them home while there were still outsiders who thought that the couple would be a misfit. The individuals who thought that Dominic was a misfit because he came from the mountain were the same people who were creating rumors about Aaron and Julianna being a misfit couple. Julianna didn’t allow these individuals to ruin or interrupt her special day. The valley was full of flowers decorating each light pole, and there were stores with American flags waving from their storefront. The valley didn’t have many events, so this was a welcoming surprise for everyone.

Julianna and Aaron were staying with her mom and dad until the night before the wedding. Aaron had asked Julianna’s oldest brother John to be his best man and the other brothers, Steven, Mark, and Henry would be his groomsmen. Aaron and the boys would stay at the local hotel the night before the wedding, where John had planned a bachelor party. Julianna had asked her college roommate, Cindy, to be her maid of honor and her high school buddies and church friends to be her bridesmaids. Everyone was satisfied to no end about them returning to the valley for their wedding. Even though Cindy was from the city, everyone still welcomed her with open arms. Cindy found that a little strange, but she enjoyed it.

The girls went to the local bistro and had a small bachelorette party for Julianna. Her mother was amazed at how much her little girl had grown since
