About this ebook
No Hood Required is a factual, sometimes comical, and emotional look at how racism in the USA has come full circle. There is no longer a reason to hide the hate of racism in this atmosphere of tolerance bolstered by the return to public displays of hate as demonstrated by everyday citizens, politicians, captains of industry, and the old guard compromised of the KKK, nationalists, and more recently, the current president of this nation. No hood required explores the open, in-your-face hate that exists today and how it has permeated every level of American society for all to see.

No Hood Required - Bradley Long
An Introduction to the United States of America
Welcome to America. Let’s review the past. Land of the free and home of the brave. You have entered a land where nothing makes sense. There is no equality. There is no justice unless you can buy it. There is no way to level the playing field unless every adult over the age of twenty were to lay down and die. Anyone who remembers or lived through the last century is forever damaged and twisted by all that they lived through. History has been hijacked and repurposed to fit the scenario. This country was founded on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness … if you were white. We are all created equal … if you are white. This is the country that murdered one race while holding captive another. Whites took what they wanted and who they wanted. Nothing belonged to anyone except them. They befriended the natives who helped them adapt to the land. For their efforts, the natives were systematically slaughtered. Their land was taken. Laws were created to make them criminals. The natives fought, but they were no match for these powerful whites. At the same time, slavery—the abusive system of kidnapping foreigners and forcing them to work and submit and beg for their lives and their children’s lives while pretending to enjoy the company of whites—flourished. Blacks had to be happy and eager to lick the feet of whites ’cause that was all we were good for, to do the bidding of a race of evil and maniacal people who were lazy and greedy.
Now comes the present. Little black boys and little white boys are treated differently. For identical crimes, the white boy will get probation, and the black boy will get hard time in prison. How can this be? Blacks are an unnecessary annoyance. The whites will eventually kill us off, but until they do, we will fight and educate our families and work to make our lives better until we simply can’t do it anymore. We have fought the good fight for the most part. In order to extinguish us, they have been extremely creative. After slavery, there was widespread criminalization of all black activity. This lead to peonage and the prison system we still enjoy today. Along the way, there were cleansings, picnics, Jim Crow, mass murders, and finally, welfare, designed to make us dependent and obedient. Now the police can simply kill us as they have over two thousand times in recent years with no fear of prosecution.
Yes, this is the good life. Welcome to America. Land of the free and home of the slave. Now tell me, how could we possibly be the most intelligent species in the universe? If you listen to God, He is cracking up!
Abraham Would Be Ashamed
To borrow a phrase from Abraham Lincoln, when, in the course of human events, we realize that this here is not working, we have got to do something different. What we have in America is not working. What we do here is not working. How we think is not working. Our laws are not working. Our behavior toward one another is not working. Maybe most of all, our laws are not working.
When those who founded this country left the king’s rule, they supposedly sought religious freedom for all, justice for all, and the pursuit of happiness for all. The framers of the Constitution were almost all slave owners. With few exceptions, these founding fathers and mothers believed it was their right to own a human person and bend that person to their will by any means. This thinking runs in line with all those historical figures we now find to be cruel and maniacal and ruthless. The founders were no different from the warmongers and dictators and kings and emperors throughout history. When the few (slave owners) rule the many (slaves) by force, there is only disparity and hardship and unrest, and finally,
