God’s Understanding
First Encounters
(God’s Understanding)
Lord, how do you see me?
The Lord answered
My little one, I see you as a frightened child with the desire to obey and get close to me. There is no reason to be frightened. I am your Lord, and I am your Savior. I have chosen you in the convent where you first met me and we had our first encounter. Focus on that day of peace and know that I want to give you peace, wisdom, wealth, and good health all the days of your life. There is so much more I want to give you, but you block it with the thoughts of things that are not good for you. Keep your eyes on me, my child. I know what is best for you. Rebuke all that is not of me. I will show you the way. I love you, little one. That is the name for you, little one. Go in peace today with love in your heart and a big smile on your face. I will show you the way. Let me lead you, little one. This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad. Enjoy my blessings.
Thank you, Jesus
Faith in Prayers
My Dreams
(Faith in Prayers)
What an incredible evening I had last night at church. The Bible study began with Genesis, and it was very long. I was tired but interested. The leader of the group Dee paired people off to bless each other and speak what they felt God wanted to say to them. All I could think about was what I was going to say. I sat, quietly listening to them praying and speaking. Some spoke in tongues. The new people were paired to pray for one another. The leader chose to pray for me. I said to myself, Okay, what do I say? I don’t even know how to pray for these people.
The leader began blessing me and told me that Jesus wanted to give me all my heart’s desires. That he was going to make my dreams come true. I kept thinking, I did not have any great dreams or desires. What was she talking about? But as I sit here, my dreams are for the well-being of my family. That each of my grandchildren is blessed with knowledge and a soft heart so they may prosper and become what God has intended them to be. I dream that they come to know and love Jesus and learn about his goodness. That they begin to receive his blessings and that they bless others. I pray they will live a peaceful life. I dream that my children stay healthy and that their marriages are blessed. That they feel the peace and beauty of God’s love. I dream that they are able to give back to others in your name. I dream that my siblings, friends, and other family members come to know and love you. I dream that you are gentle in your teachings to all of them.
I dream that you fill my heart with love and peace so that I can help others and become all that you intend me to be. I dream of freedom to love and help this world become a better place. I dream for the wisdom to know what is right and wrong and to continue to know your love. I dream of a healthy body so I may fulfill all the work you have in store for me. I dream for the finances that will help me to accomplish all the work.
My blessings for the leader Dee of the group were that God gives her the wisdom and strength to do her work and that she has the health and wisdom to put her work in perspective so she may continue to do God’s work. She will be pulled in many directions. May she have the strength and courage to say no to the things that are not important and yes to the important things. She said my prayer was right on and that I was good at praying. She then invited me to become part of the church. For the first time, I felt at home there.
She then walked off and got a tissue and dried her tears.
Thank you Jesus for a wonderful evening.
God’s Timing
The Time Is Now, Said the Lord
(God’s Timing)
Good morning, Father, the thunder roars, the rain falls, and yet there is still a feeling of peace in the air. It brings a smile to my face as I think of my childhood. The Angels are bowling,
my mom would say. Sometimes, I envision what it would be like in heaven. Oh, Father, there is such victory, love, and peace in following you. I feel sad for those who deny themselves this privilege of walking and accepting you as their Lord and Savior.
There it is again, a roar of thunder. The rain falls gently. The earth is soaking up your blessings of water to nurture it and bring back its color and beauty for your glory and those who have eyes to see it, ears to hear it, and not take it for granted, just as you bring us back from the captivity from our own hearts and minds.
Father, you woke me up this morning and spoke to me about the book you want me to complete for you. It will help your people come to know, trust, believe, and love you as I do. Father, what are you saying to me?
The Lord answered
It is time child, it is time. It is time for you to move. It is time for you to recapture your health. It is time for you to do my work; it is time for you to write that book! It is time for you to grow up in me. Oh my child, you have struggled way to long. Oh my child, it pains me to see your struggle, as a Mom and Dad are pained to see their hurting children, I am pained to see your struggle. You are in control. You asked me yesterday, Father, when do we stop blaming the enemy and take control of our own minds? The time is now. The time is now little one for you to take control, take up your sword and fight the battle set before you. David was not afraid of Goliath, with a slingshot and a stone he slayed Goliath. Who then my child are you afraid of? Who then my child shall stand in the way of the daughter of the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, true God of true God’s, the God most high? Yes little one, you are my child. You are mighty, you are strong, you are courageous, my will, will be done in your life, the time is now.
I have sent you helpers, one to physically get your strength back, I have sent you helpers to mentally help your mind and prepare you. You will, you can, and you must do this for me. Yes child, I am a gentle God, yes child, I am a loving and merciful God, yes child, my grace is sufficient for you. All this is true, now capture it, claim it, and do it. I love you little one. I look forward to see your progress. I look forward to see the smile on your face as you help others to know who I am. I smile to see the unbelievers. I smile because you bring them to me and now they are believers. In your mind this is a great task. In your heart you know you can and will do this because your heart is for me. Your love for me shall now prevail, just as my love for you will always prevail. Go in peace today little one. Go in peace for it is time for you, little five foot child, to grow into the Goliath that has no fear, No, forget Goliath, the David who has slain Goliath. You will slay whatever it is that is holding you back. You will slay whatever it is trying to keep you from doing my work. I chose you because I knew your love for me. I chose you because I knew you would be obedient to me. I chose you because your faith would grow because you believe my words. I will take care of you and your family. Go in peace little one, go in peace today and when you wake up, you will write. When you wake and begin to start the day you will begin with thankfulness in your heart and watch the blessings I have in store for you.
Father, your grace is sufficient for me. Your will be done. Thank you, Lord and my Savior, for choosing
