End Time: Bee Poems
()
About this ebook
This book titled End Time Bee Poems was written first from the inspiration of my Lord Jesus Christ, who kept the theme of bees through my life and also with the inspiring help of close "fellow worker bee" friends. They have added memorable quotes, visions, and enlightenment with shared stories and experiences. Besides being called "Bee" as a nickname most of my life, it also adapted to "Auntie Bee" and then "Grambee" and also, at times, "Queen Bee." This is how the poems came to be known as "Bee Poems," which became like my own signature for each poem.
I learned a few things about bees and how they work together side by side with a dedication to the hive and the queen bee. Not taking glory in their own works but bringing about the glory of the hive. I found there were many things about the life of bees that paralleled with my spiritual walk. The Lord did not direct me to do much research in regard to bees, but He taught me just what I needed to know that would be relevant to what the poems would be about. I learned that worker bees actually worked while in rest. The subject of entering God's rest is mentioned in many a poem. It was imperative that this message was communicated as the main difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.
I was inspired also to add to the title "end time." An urgency of how these times we live in with prophecies of end time happenings coming to pass became the fuel behind getting the poems written. The first poem in the book, "The Bees," was actually one of the last poems written now used as a kind of an introduction of the poems that would follow.

End Time - Betty Lou Piluso
The Bees
Seasons come and go.
Ask the bees what they know.
Worker bees on a special mission.
God’s New Covenant commission.
A hostile world outside infected.
Bees go out for only nectar.
Got to make the eternal honey.
More to be desired than money.
The bees seem to be same/same.
They are same, but different, all the same.
Victory thrives inside the hive.
Purposed in their side by side.
Adorned as ladies in waiting.
As with their queen, their king awaiting.
Nothing enters in unclean.
The hive itself knows what that means.
The only sanctuary of its kind.
A place of pure love to find.
Like royal jelly for anointing,
The most precious few for appointing.
It is evident and clear,
Such a royal life to bear.
There is an end to the season.
The flowers fade in almost treason.
The bees hold on until the last.
The harvest gleaned from life past.
A new dawn breaks like a first morning.
The king has come with a kingdom, governing.
Light shines through the hive as a ready lantern.
A lively hope lived on for each generation.
Never has there been such a hope remain.
The bees held the message of a king to reign.
Grace Is Running Out
Grace came to visit for a short while.
Who would host such a one with a smile?
A stranger to all; only some would embrace.
Oh, the talk and the gossip that went on about Grace.
What was she doing here? What was she for?
How do you use or explain her at all?
Some said they misused her to get away with whatever.
Some said she was the best gift, a chance to start over.
Others had to look her up on Google.
She is the favor of God,
says Google.
Some yelled, What’s this? God has favorites?
That’s not what some would expect of God, now is it!
You don’t get something for nothing,
they haughtily preached.
Anything you don’t work hard for you won’t appreciate.
Could it be these are jealous of those who have Grace?
Why did they turn her down then, when at their door, she faced?
Grace could only stay for a little while she said.
For the purpose why she came was almost at an end.
Hurry up! Grace is running out! Get her while you can!
So Grace began to speak, I will tell you who I am.
We listened intently; so what was the buzz?
Some stopped up their ears to not hear who she was.
Grace said she came with all ribbons and bows.
Some could care less, but here’s how it goes:
When Grace comes as a gift, receive her with awe,
From the one who has sent her; from God who is Love.
He knew we’d need saving from the end of all things.
But not just to be saved, there’s more that Grace brings.
Never to be earned, she’s freely dispersed.
A daily bread to all who see her great worth.
Grace can’t have works, where good works must abound.
The strong arm is futile; in weakness is Grace found.
Who can make it on their own? Who does even dare?
You who live by the law, are fallen from Grace—oh dear!
You evidently don’t need her, so now she must leave.
What? She was only good for you, for when you first believed?
So if you dis-Grace, you will miss her for sure.
She is God’s New Covenant. Do not reject that He sent her!
Having All Things Common
A man who loved God, with all of his heart,
Pledged a pledge to do anything God would want.
From Genesis to Revelation, He knew God so well.
He could quote any verse about heaven or hell.
This man who loved God, set out on a mission.
For all of God’s people, he would build a whole village.
The place would be perfect, with strict moral rules.
With raised fist, and a shout, mustered up a strong crew.
Oh, the joy they would have, living together as one!
Breaking bread, singing songs, having all things common.
Just like in the Bible, in the book of Acts.
We will do it right! We will make it last!
But then God asked a question, which made the man perplexed.
God said, "What did I say today? Did I talk? Did I text?
What is this you are planning? Did I say yes to that?
How noble of you. Want a pat on the back?"
Though attempted in Acts, God brought to a halt.
Only God knows what’s required in this spiritual walk!
Split by persecution, where God willed, they were hurled.
From Judea, to Samaria…to the uttermost part of the world.
Remember the Puritans as they tried to pursue?
They measured their deeds and administered rules.
Oblivious to fighting devils, they fought with each other.
The doctrinal war, to divide all asunder.
You preach to persuade men, to be of good virtue.
They don’t listen to God; but they’ll listen to you?
You can say the kingdom is here or is there.
You will know for sure when the King of kings will appear.
His kingdom is presently within, and within is His presence.
Naked to the eye, yet rules with a vengeance!
You try to separate now, the wheat from the tares.
But God wills that they grow together until harvest is here.
With a rod of iron, one day, Jesus shall rule.
This prophecy was meant for Him, not for you!
Faith is what is common now, in which you are led.
So proceed to do your singing, and breaking of bread!
Then replied the man who loved God with all his heart,
You are God, and I am not!
We All Wait
While stopped at a red light, glancing to my left,
Gravestones of those waiting, in peace do they rest.
Some say they’re in heaven, some say they’re in hell.
Who can tell us for sure? Who’s going to tell?
But the story reads if not mistaken,
When death comes, you rest until wakened.
For judgment comes for evil or good.
Doesn’t sound fair, if not taught as you should.
What chance did they have? Who knew how to be?
How do you measure the outcome of those we don’t see?
God sent the law of the dos and the don’ts.
It seemed fairly easy, but all failed, doomed at once.
God had to prove how impossible the task;
To make ourselves righteous, even more make it last.
Oh, wretched people we were, without hope for a cure.
A hard job it was; would take effort for sure.
Then God chimed in and said, My grace is sufficient.
There was no way that we could be so efficient.
He had a great plan to conquer this death.
It took an innocent death to end the curse of death.
He thought, Who would do this great task just for Me?
It would take someone precious, a sacrifice to be.
He should be strong as a lion, but meek as a lamb.
He would be brought to the slaughter, such courage to demand.
The only one was Jesus, His only begotten Son.
God so loved the world to get it done.
Victory accomplished, It is finished!
Jesus said.
Nailed to a cross, after suffering, was dead.
For three days and three nights, He was laid in the grave.
God raised Him to life again. Yes! We are saved!
Now death has no grip on those asleep in the faith;
For He will raise them also, and so we all wait.
A lively hope, of what we know is real.
Eternal life is the gift which death shall not steal.
In the end, shall all be awakened, to see what was done.
A great salvation has happened…but only for some.
Sin Conquered
Sin was, and still is, a hot topic of today.
So define sin,
someone would say.
Starting back in the beginning, with Adam and Eve;
Were tempted to work out their own life of ease.
They were told that they wouldn’t need God their creator.
They would know good and evil, be as God—even better!
Sin slithered in like a snake on the ground.
Suddenly, it happened, and here’s what they found.
First was the knowing, that they did something wrong.
The tree of knowledge worked! That didn’t take long.
Now they could live life on their own without God.
Oh, that’s Him calling! Quick, hide, put on a facade!
Then in man’s new knowing, they felt something new.
They felt something called shame, which didn’t feel good.
Hidden and shaken in a new thing called fear.
Can’t be transparent, quick, cover up before He draws near!
Covering as much as they could, the guilt they portrayed,
But didn’t count on a red face to give them away.
God’s interrogation started, and oh, what got provoked!
They lied, accused, and excused to look good, they hoped.
Pride and envy set in as their death sentence was given.
Resentment and bitterness and feeling rejection.
Regret and self-pity were no badge of honor.
Oh, the web of sin, that spiraled downward.
Independence from God they thought was a freedom.
Mankind was duped! What happened to their Garden of Eden?
Death was their doom now because of sin.
Now what would they do? Now who would save them?
They forgot God is love who offers forgiveness,
Who paid the death sentence, through His Son Jesus.
Sin has no more dominion, for all those who believe.
Sin has been conquered, for a new life of peace.
End Times
Look! The last days! The end times here in our midst!
See in the sky, the blood moons, the solar eclipse!
How about that Revelation 12 sign? Who could miss it!
Many have explained it to be more explicit.
But not all are amazed with these signs and wonders.
Shouting, No man knows the day or the hour!
That’s what the Bible says, so why should we bother?
But a few verses down, Jesus says to watch. It is clear.
He tells us rejoice as our salvation draws near.
There shall come in the last days scoffers, who shout,
When is this promise of His coming to come about?
As in the days of Noah, these times will be.
Preaching God’s righteousness, but they didn’t believe.
Going on with their life, like nothing was going on.
God at work in the background, not making a sound.
Many hints of prophecies coming to pass.
Who’s paying attention? God says to the mass.
Why aren’t you excited, and talking it up?
Some of My prophets though cannot shut up!
You are of the day, and not of the night;
That that day should overtake you, as a thief in the night.
Don’t sleep as others but watch and be sober.
I’m at the door! says the Lord. And it will soon be over.
Many a warning has come of these times;
Signs in the heavens and earth to remind.
What else can be done to convince you to turn,
To Me, the living God. When will you learn?
You won’t surrender to Me, to let Me care for you?
You’re all set, you say. You know what to do.
So you build, and you work, and you take pride with a party.
Then suddenly smashed are your houses and property.
You think I will let all this evil abound?
You think you’ll be safe without Me around?
Well, the day that I turn because you turned from Me;
Is the day there’ll be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Shouting, God, why did You do this and what’s going on?
You have no excuse.
