Awaken My Soul flourished from the depths of pain experienced by the author. Working through a difficult trial of her own, Kristina birthed a deep awareness of the character of God that brought forth healing and knowledge. The most important lesson through this trial was her deep awareness of the unfailing faithfulness of God. As Christians, we are told over and over about God's goodness. But sometimes it isn't until we are faced with a circumstance that we have to stand and believe in what we have heard and been taught. Introduction

As you journey through the pages of this book, I believe your heart, spirit, and mind will be challenged in such a way your whole being will be wrecked and entangled with the spirit of God.

You will begin to be made whole in areas you did not know were rugged and blemished by the patterns of this world.

Do not view this journey as another duty to check off your Christian to-do list. Engage your heart in the intimacy laid before you on these pages. I encourage you to journal your own worship in the blank pages allotted for you. Allow your heart the freedom to let go and worship the Lord from the very fibers of your being.

Sometimes we can get in the presence of God, selfishly seeking that which he can do for us. I challenge you to seek him wholeheartedly, pouring out your heart in such a way that you move the Creator.

Lord, delight in your servant. Delight in this noise of clamor I bring to you!

Grace me, Father, as I pour my heart to you as this day begins.
