About this ebook
If you believe in miracles, you need to read this book. You will be so amazed.
God has blessed my life above measure because there were a number of times when I should have died, but each time he miraculously delivered me. In God's plan, situations are set up in each of our lives to glorify him. Over forty years ago, he set it for me to meet the late Prophetess Dr. Hattie B. Jones and become a member of her ministry. Through her faith in God and powerful prayers, my life and numerous others were changed, blessed, and impacted phenomenally. The amazing and mind-boggling ways God used her was similar to how he used the prophets in the Bible. Her life and ministry was a testament that all things are possible, including the impossible, with God.

Preface
Ibelieve things are set up in our lives to glorify God. I base that idea on the miraculous events I’ve witnessed, experienced, and read about in the Bible. Years ago, I asked God why my life has gone the way it has, and I heard him say in my spirit, It’s all for my glory.
That’s why I titled the book It’s All a Setup for God’s Glory . I pray that God be glorified in the eyes of everyone that read my story.

Introduction
My name is Evangelist Juanita M. Phillips, affectionately called Nita. I have been on the path of salvation since I was fifteen years old, and to date, the journey has been quite extraordinary. Salvation is defined as deliverance from sin and its consequences, which is brought about by faith in Christ (Oxford).
The Most Important Setup
On June 11, 2013, it came to my mind to read the various chapters in the New Testament about Jesus’s life and death. I felt a dread, at first, about reading it, because I knew it talked about peoples’ denial, betrayal, and crucifixion of Jesus. The devil used the religious leaders and one of those in Jesus’s inner circle to deny him and another one to betray him. The physical suffering he endured was beyond horrific, and just reading about it is overwhelming. Nevertheless, those chapters coincides with my subject. Jesus’s life, death, and resurrection was the most astounding setups that will ever be. That’s why it was necessary for me to elaborate on it first.
Along with being falsely accused, humiliated, and ridiculed, Jesus was beaten nearly to death, and he felt every pain. His body was bloody and marred as they nailed his hands and feet to a cross. His cross then was placed between the crosses of two thieves who also were being crucified.
During that process, which I believe was the worst of all Jesus’s sufferings, he was temporarily separated from God. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
(Matthew 27:46).
Shortly after that, Jesus gave up the ghost and died. It looked as if his enemies had the victory. They thought they had shut him up for good. However, unbeknownst to them, they were participants of God’s plan. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead (Mark 16:6). It was all a setup for God’s glory.
His resurrection gave him all power over sin and death, and it opened the way of salvation and eternal life for all. He completed his mission, and the fact that he did it in a human body set an example for us to follow (1 Peter 4:1). If he had never come and sacrificed his life, the human race would have been forever separated from God. But because he lives, we live.
2020 Was a Year of Sadness and Blessings!
In July 2020, I became very sick when I contracted the Covid-19 virus and a few days later the shingle virus. Prior to that, I was considered high-risk because of my COPD and low-grade B-cell lymphoma, which I got diagnosed with in June. Things got worse when my spiritual mother and former pastor, Prophetess Dr. Hattie B Jones, died on July 30, 2020. It happened one day before her ninety-sixth birthday. I loved Prophetess dearly, and for forty years, we shared a unique connection, which was miraculously set up by God.
With me being sick and quarantined, I was unable to attend her homegoing celebration, and that made me sad. I felt numb, both mentally and spiritually. I prayed somewhat, but I couldn’t feel God’s presence like I normally did. However, in it all, he kept my mind stable, and step by step, he brought me through the sickness.
I was so blessed to have my sister, Chris Fair, and my son, Elder Joseph Phillips, and his wife, Michelle, looking out for me. They purchased and dropped off whatever I needed and refused to accept any money from me. Many prayers went up for me, which included my then current pastor, Bishop Slayton Palms, of Greater Mountain of Hope Ministries. He made regular phone calls to check on me. I was alone in my apartment, and all their help along with everyone’s prayers kept me going.
I need to mention that, sadly, on December 19, 2020, Bishop Slayton Palms made his transition. I had only been a part of his ministry for a little over two years. I was still in the process of getting settled in. When I first got there, he told me that I could be under his watch and care and later join the church. However, he said, as long as Prophetess was alive, I was still under her ministry even though she had retired.
Bishop Palms understood the connection that I had with Prophetess because he too had a special connection with her. Years ago, he got deathly sick, and she prayed for him, and he was healed. He stated that she could speak to the dead, and not everybody could do that. His passing was a shock to the church world and especially to me. It hit me hard because Prophetess had just died five months earlier.
I had planned to print out pages of this book to give to Bishop Palms. I wanted him to read it and pray over it, but it never happened. He was greatly loved by so many. I was truly thankful to be a part of his amazing homegoing service. I felt his spirit during the celebration of his life. It was a Holy Ghost-filled service, and we shouted and praised God just like he did when he was alive. Bishop Slayton Palms will never be forgotten.
It came to me later why I felt so numb when Prophetess died, I was spiritually disconnected from her. As you read on, you will understand why I said that. One morning as my sickness began to lift, I heard in my spirit strongly, The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want.
It brought tears to my eyes because I was so grateful to feel God’s presence once again.
Those words gave me strength and assurance that I wasn’t alone. I got my Bible, and I read the entire passage of the twenty-third Psalms. As I read it, I realized those scriptures really summed up our walk with God as believers. Think about it, he’s our shepherd; he watches over us, corrects us, and supplies all of our needs both naturally and spiritually.
The Lord is my shepherd
was one of the main messages that Prophetess preached down through the years. I don’t think it was a coincidence that God spoke those exact words to me. In our churches, we have our earthly spiritual shepherds (pastors) whom God has ordained. For about forty years, Prophetess Dr. Hattie B. Jones was my earthly shepherd, and she impacted my life miraculously.
I know this will sound strange to some, but one day during my recovery, I was praying, and in the spirit, I saw Prophetess and it made me so happy. She was standing with one of her daughters, Apostle Richard D. Henton, Bishop Louis H. Ford, and Bishop H. W. Goldsberry, all of whom are deceased. Each one of them standing with Prophetess were spiritual giants in the church world and they all played major roles in her life and ministry.
When I looked up and saw them looking down at me, they didn’t say anything, but in my spirit, I heard, Finish the book.
Prophetess was the one that originally instructed me to write this book years ago. That entire experience of seeing her and the others in the spirit was humbling and amazing.
Throughout the years, I’ve seen Prophetess in my dreams. I’ve felt her prayers and her presence with me numerous times when she wasn’t there physically. I even had a vision
