About this ebook
When the times comes in the midst of the trials, who do you turn to? Who can find a good listener? Does God hear the prayers of his people? Does God give talents today? In over forty years, the author has served in many ministries with a listening ear for the Holy Spirit. Through the years, she has been blessed with original songs, poems, and anointed words (messages) from the Holy Spirit and they healed and helped many. Her purpose is to encourage those who read the true stories, poems, etc., in how to stay "determined" and to "persevere" in their lives walking with Jesus. Be sure to read "The Fork in the Road" poem along with the others she is sharing as she takes "the pen of a ready writer for the Lord" (Psalm 45:1). The author not only believes strongly in "perseverance" and "determination," not to give up. She wants to encourage you also in what God has for you. (To God be all the glory and all the praise.)

It’s Not Religion - It’s Life
Psalm 45:1: My heart is meditating on a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
Seek God’s best and all that He has for you so you can be your best for God.
Stay open and let the Holy Spirit teach you no matter how long you’ve been in the ministry or how famous you’ve become. You simply cannot do it yourself—no matter how convincing you sound. God wants to use you, but you have to be real.
Amen.
As I take the pen of a ready writer for the Lord, the Holy Spirit is revealing some simple but extraordinary things God did in my life. God is all knowing and all powerful. You cannot match his mighty power no matter how good you’ve been. There is no formula, as he can change it any time. There is only one true God—the God of the Bible and he is in control. As you obey God, he can use you.
You may be thinking, you are not educated or as anointed as some. It’s not a contest. If so, Jesus already won. If not, still, Jesus has already won! Only he paid it all. He just wants you to be willing to follow him. Follow none other.
As I take the pen of a ready writer for the Lord, my intentions are to share the wondrous way the Holy Spirit gave me the first song years ago. I marvel today still as I look back, and I am believing God will encourage you in your life as you walk with him and seek him as to what talents lies deep inside of you that God can develop as you serve him. You may be surprised as you go to him and let him use you. Too, it may not be what you think it is.
That is only the beginning, as I recall the real miracle working God he is still today, not just in David’s day.
In Psalm 116:1: I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
Amen.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Amen! If you are reading this, God loves you. He has your number, no matter what you’ve done, no matter what you are going through. We all have our trials.
Sing! Sing Unto The Lord!
Sing unto the Lord with all your heart! Sing unto the Lord with all your being! Sing unto the Lord a new Song!
Sing! Sing! Sing!
Can you hear what the Spirit is saying? God loves it when we sing. Not just when we sing a pretty song or hymn or our favorite chorus, but when we sing to Him.
How many times have we mothers, and even fathers sung little songs to our own children as they were growing up? How many times did it comfort them or cheer them up? Ever hear of a lullaby? Of course you have.
God is the Creator. He created beautiful music and is also the real originator of good music. He gives the talent and the abilities even though our adversary—the devil—tries to imitate everything God does.
The devil is a great big fake! He is a counterfeit! Amen?
He even tries to imitate the gift of tongues just to name one. But God is mighty God … Amen?
At this point, I must share a true story of when I was little in grade school. We lived on a tiny one block street called Rankin not far from South Third, but when I used to walk to school back in the winter, my little hands would freeze without any gloves. Many times my knuckles froze and sometimes would even bleed.
The school janitor would watch for me and made sure I crossed the street to Holy Name okay. When the weather was good, he had to attend to his job and this one morning, as I stood on the corner
