    Psalm 1

Lord God, how blessed we are when we do not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers. But our delight will be in Your law, Oh Lord. In Your law we will meditate day and night; and we will be like trees that are firmly planted by streams of water. We will yield fruit in our season, and our leaves will not wither; and whatever we do will prosper. The wicked are not so, they will be like the chaff which the wind blows away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For You, Lord, know the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. Praise Your Name. Amen and Amen.

    Psalm 2:1–6

Lord God, why are the nations in an uproar, and the people devising vain things. The rulers of the earth take their stand, and they take counsel together against You and against Your anointed; let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us. Lord, You who sit in the heavens laugh and scoff at them. You will speak to them in Your anger and terrify them in Your fury; but as for You, Lord; You have installed Your King upon Zion, Your Holy mountain. Help the people of God to stand and not be afraid as we watch You deliver Your people.

    Psalm 3:3

You, Oh Lord, are a shield about us. Our glory and the One who lifts our heads. We cry to You with our voices, and You answer us from Your Holy mountain. We lay down and sleep, we awaken, for You sustain us. We will not be afraid of ten thousand people who have set themselves against us. Arise, Oh Lord; save us, Oh our God, for You have smitten all of our enemies on the cheek. You have shattered the teeth of the wicked. Salvation belongs to You! Praise Your Name.

    Psalm 4

Oh Lord, answer us when we call, God of our righteousness. You have relieved us in our distress; be gracious to us and hear our prayers. But we know You have set apart the godly man for Yourself. You hear when we call to You. Lift up the light of Your countenance upon on us, Oh Lord. You have put gladness in our hearts, in peace we will both lie down and sleep. For You alone, Oh Lord, make us to dwell in safety. Amen and Amen.
