About this ebook
A lad is inspired to become a missionary and do great things for the Lord because of his early training in evangelism. He goes to church a lot with his parents and reads the Bible every day and prays to God every day. He pursues all angles until his time is ripe. Along the way, some notorious people enter like Rock Starr, The Holy Rollers, Sir Paul Majesty, Rick Sparkles, John Jones, and Jorge Halliday; and actresses Sophia Russo and Jayne Marvel. This makes for hot and torrid action. They want in. A well-known capitalist industrialist wants to be a missionary too, counter opposed to the missionary kid. So, what is it going to be and who will get the mission impossible? The action includes the missionary kid's childhood background, his trials and tribulations, his experiences with his friends, encounters learning about who God is. He makes missionary trips with his father. Later, the bigger missionary trips are in South America. Now, they go out into the field and knock on doors, speak to people, and get many of them saved. Rothwell, the capitalist, is also there trying to be a missionary. Stay tuned and find out who has more moves than a bowl of Jell-O and who wins out! Be there, same time and same station.

Acknowledgments
If you are reading this book—be blessed, and if you are not, I hope and pray that you will so you can be blessed. I got my inspiration to write The Missionary Kid after I read Billy Graham’s book, My Hope.
I give credit to my wonderful teacher, Florence Zeldin, who taught me well in Junior High School 22 in the Bronx; she is a great teacher who teaches English, social studies, composition, the arts, and math.
She inspired me to go over a ninety percent average. This is the first year of high school so all the grades were figured into our average if you intended to go to college like I intended. Also, I thank my teacher Patty Pfitsch of Children’s Writers Institute in Connecticut. She corrected me and made me never give up and continue to write.
I acknowledge Dr. Harold Pascal, president of TOALC, whose courses in creative writing keeps me sharp and better.
Finally, my lovely wife Reva, says, Fred, you only write masterpieces, keep going, be blessed.
Also, inspiration came from Albert and Maritza Cardona—nice and godly people who lead and demonstrate Christian principles of love, joy, and peace.
Interview: March 2, 2016, 12:32 p.m. on March 2, 2016 with Albert Cardona, Missionary in Guatemala
Albert Cardona is a Christian brother at Light of the World Church who took a mission trip to Guatemala.
Motivation: God speaks to Albert, who is a disabled retiree now raised to do a handyman’s job. And God said, Albert, I have given you all you wanted, how much are you willing to give me?
Albert fell on his knees because he had seizures. But God has given me everything. How much will you give God in return? Albert thought to himself. So Albert went, and different churches met there. Every other man there was a handyman, like a plumber, an electrician, a carpenter—but Albert was not.
God worked it out; Albert was not going to say no. God gave Albert a beautiful wife, Maritza, and three boys and a girl. Albert fell on his knees and said, God, I would not be here if I did not have You. I would have nothing. Also, I fell on a railway track in NYC.
You on a mission trip, really? But God can sustain you while you are on His mission. You are not going to speak to Maritza until you get back,
God said. What, another man was on a cell phone.
Honey, we are over Texas if you don’t see me again. I love you.
Albert tried to speak to Maritza on a man’s borrowed cell phone, but the phone battery went dead. Why? Because God said, You won’t speak to Maritza until you finish God’s mission.

Chapter 1
In the Beginning
In the beginning, God said, Let there be light.
Yes, I recall when our Joseph was born in November 2005, somewhere around Billy Graham’s birth date. Being good parents, we believed in a sound and godly upbringing for our son.
