About the Author
Part 1
Turn Their Darkness into Light
How long, oh precious Father,
Must we wait beneath this altar,
Till we see eternal day,
Till we finally see your face?
All the trials we have once borne,
For one who wore a crown of thorns,
Who died with arms opened wide,
To keep us always by His side.
How long until we are called,
To live within those Sacred walls,
To walk on those streets of gold,
To sing hosannas round Your Throne?
We know that You are just Lord,
And will deal rightly by Your word,
Taking vengeance on our blood,
Upon this cursed and wicked Earth.
Do touch Your people dear Lord,
Help them be of sacred mind,
Fill them with Your sweet Spirit,
Do turn their darkness into light.
Where Can We Go?
In this world of sorrow,
And painful misery,
One came to bear the cost,
To ransom you
