Daisy’s Journey
Daisy’s journey started about thirty years ago. Daisy was caught, captured, and taken from a wild natural habitat where she should have been able to live out her life. Instead she was brought into captivity and sold! Taken from an environment filled with lush native vegetation and resources to sustain life in the wild, where she was born to survive and thrive.
Unfortunately, it was not Daisy’s fate in life. Life took her down a different path, a pathway into a world of captivity. And what a journey it’s been!
Daisy was purchased from a pet store roughly thirty years ago. Her age now is approximately thirty-six years old. She is a three-toed box turtle. Her place of origin is believed to be the South, presumably the Louisiana area, so I’ve been told. A little Southern girl!
