Parousia

Parousia (pa-roú-si-a) is a Greek word that means "coming" in English. It is in reference to the coming of Christ at the end of history. The second advent Jesus Christ is coming back not as a babe to be crucified. He is coming back as Lord of lords and King of kings with a rod of iron to set things right and to rule. Parousia is a collection of poems about God's love and awesomeness written in hopes of whoever desires a closer relationship with him will seek him because you will find him. It's written for comfort and encouragement regardless of your circumstances because God can and does change things. It is written for faith and strength to follow your dreams and reach for the sky because even if you miss, you are still among the stars. Man will sometimes say no, but God always says yes. It is written for favor and wisdom, a reminder that God loves all of his children. His only requirement is to have his love returned willingly and to keep him first in your life because he is a jealous God. It is written for God's generosity. When you obey him, he will pour out an overflow of blessings upon you so many that you won't have room enough to receive them all. It is my prayer that whoever takes the time to read these poems will stay or become inspired as well as enjoy them as I have enjoyed writing them. Thank you and God bless.

A Love Letter to My Heavenly Father

Dear God,

My heavenly Father who came into my life in a mighty way and saved a wretch like me, looking past all of my faults and seeing all of my needs, you opened my blind eyes to see. I am the result from a seed planted a long time ago lying dormant no one thought it would grow. But one day Father you looked and saw your child in need, you gently reached down and touched that preplanted seed. It started growing in grace, love, strength, courage, wisdom, and all the great things that you are and will always be, I needed only to know you and have the faith which is the key.

Thank you Father, for your loving kindness toward me and your grace and mercy too, without them I am nothing that’s why I need you, every second, every minute, and every hour of each day, I need your protection and guidance every step of the way.

I love you Father, and I know you love me too, You may not like some of the things I say and some of the things I do. Have your way in my life Father, have your way in my heart, mold me, and shape me Father, the way it should have been from the start.

Pour your oil on me Father, from the top of my head down to my feet, preparing me my heavenly Father for the day
