I dedicate this book to all of God’s children—the saved and unsaved. Come all, to the King, for His love is waiting for you.

This is a prophetic picture from my granddaughter Annika Rose who was four years old when she drew it. The Cross and the Trinity of Three Crowns.

    Foreword

Elisa Ernst has worked for years in coaching and massage in the area of holistic health for bodies. My wife and I met her at JPL Church. She came with a passion for spiritual health. In church, many people come in with passion for spiritual health; but Elisa persevered week after week, month after month. She was then blessed with a wonderful husband—full of personality and enthusiasm for work, life, Elisa, and his spiritual life with Elisa. We enjoyed getting to know them as a couple in our marriage small group, and they added a lot of personality!

What a shock it was to us all when he suddenly passed away from a heart attack! I remember at the hospital that Elisa was in shock, grieving and ministering all at once. I did not say much but observed her. She attended church that very next Sunday, and during the church service, the Lord gave her a vision.

From the very first week, she kept her peace and as another shock, experienced a form of joy in the Lord in the midst of her grief. Truly a crown of worship and faith! She has continued persevering and has become a spiritual leader in our church and is now an author. I know she will never slow down. She is accelerating in growing wisdom and character and unity with the Lord. I pray this book will bring that grace upon your life and make it a rich and satisfying adventure.

    Acknowledgments

First, I would like to thank my sweet Heavenly Father for His love for all of us. Father, I know you have always been with me. The first time I heard Your audible voice was when I was just a child. Thank You for never leaving me. Thank You for Jesus, my Yeshua, my faithful King. Thank You for giving me Your delightful Holy Spirit, who has taught me many things and has comforted me in all my days and nights. Thank You for giving me wonderful earthly parents. I am grateful for my three children and seven grandchildren, whom You have given me to love and leave a legacy of Your love and truth.

To sweet Eddie, my hubby, who is now in heaven. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving my children and grandchildren as if they were your own. It was such a blessing to see you grow in God’s love and how you shared that love with other people.

Second, I want to thank Pastor Steve and his wife, Pastor Marty. In this book, in the chapter Crown of Humility, I stated that Jesus is the perfect example of humility. Well, next are Pastor Steve and Pastor Marty. When God led me to JPL Church, the first thing that attracted me was their pure humility. They both edify the church in this gift. They serve and shepherd the church with strength and love. They poured into me with Christ-like love. They taught me through all the Bible studies they offer at church.

They prayed for me, and they guided me. What amazing examples they are of being like Christ! To my church family, my brothers and sisters who bring in God’s presence into our church and into my life, thank you for loving me, praying for me, singing and dancing with me, and providing for me in many ways.

Third, I want to thank Grace Church and Pastor Bruce. At the beginning of my journey, they welcomed me into their church. They provided me with free counseling and prayed for me in sickness. And they started to teach me about the true love of God.

To my two sweet companions, Wiley and Gia Stellina, my two dogs. They get me up every morning to go on our worship walks. Thank you, Mr. Wiley, for the joy and protection you offer on our walks. Thank you for all the love you give me all the time.

    Introduction

My calling is to wear my royal crowns. My declaration is I [Elisa] press toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3:14)

For the Lord takes delight in His people; He crowns the humble with salvation. (Ps. 149:4)

I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. (Rev. 3:11 ESV)

For it was not to angels that God subjected the world to come, of which we are speaking. v.6 It has been testified somewhere, what is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you care for him? V7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor. (Heb. 2:5–7 ESV)

Henceforth, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing. (2 Tim. 4:8 ESV)

Therefore my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord, my beloved. (Phil. 4:1 ESV)

Grey hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life. (Prov. 16:31 ESV)

When we do small things in a great way, we will be given the kingdom keys to use for God’s purpose for our lives. Because I have used the kingdom keys, I now wear and use all of God’s crowns. Having done all that I know to do, I stand tall, and I stand upright in righteousness. Hallelujah and Amen! Thank You, Lord, for empowering us for Your kingdom. Thank you that You allow us to taste and see Your kingdom right now.

Thank You, Father Yahweh, my love, for Your covenant with me. Thank You for Your grace, power, kindness, patience, comfort, peace, wisdom, mercy, love, and favor toward me. You have given me a chest full of treasures. Each one is a crown to be worn. Each one gives me authority. Each one is a piece of armor. Each one glorifies You, Lord. Thank You for adorning me with Your precious treasures. Each gem on each crown represents Your godly characters. I do ask that You please help me to walk confidently in the spiritual blessings that You have bestowed in and upon me.

You may visualize many different crowns to symbolize each treasure or just one crown with many different gems on it. He has adorned us with His royal clothes, armor, and robes. Holy Spirit showed me crowns one morning when I was spending time with Him.

By wearing our crowns, we will live a life that brings glory to God and it will cause us to receive our inheritance from God. Wearing our crowns will allow us to live in a higher level. It’s walking in our true calling. We will stand out in the crowd. The light shining from us will change the atmosphere and those in it. Our crowns will enable us to endure to the end. Wearing our crowns is a symbol of who we belong to. We are in God’s royal family, and it is fitting to be dressed appropriately. Wearing our crowns brings unity in the family. We are empowered to bring others into God’s family.

By wearing our crowns, we let go, release mediocrity (or being average), and put on or embrace the Crown of Excellence. Wearing our crowns allows us to live a life of holiness and obedience to our God. As believers in Christ, we want to wear our crowns appropriately so we can become successful in growing in His character. Our crowns signify powerful victory. By wearing our crowns, we do not live defeated anymore.

The book of Ephesians focuses on the believer’s responsibility to walk in accordance with our heavenly calling in Christ Jesus. Also, Ephesians helps and teaches believers to have more awareness of their position in Christ because this is the basis for their practice on every stage of life. In Ephesians 2:6, it talks about receiving gifts from God, how we were created in Christ Jesus for good works, and how we should walk in them. Again, as we walk, we want to be equipped and dressed appropriately.

We are told to have a walk worthy of the calling to which we are called. Even though we Christians are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, spiritual warfare is still a daily experience of the Christian while in the world. We are to have a walk of integrity amid all people. We are also to maintain a walk of holiness as children of light (Eph. 5:1–21).

Because we are part of the royal family, we inherit all His treasures. We not only inherit His treasures, but we also share in His suffering in order to share His glory. When we encounter hard times, having our crowns on will enable us to be in right position to walk accordingly to His will.

In James 1:2–3 (NKJV), the Bible shows us that trials are good for us. When we are equipped with our crowns, it will help us to consider it nothing but joy…whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Faith would be through the experience; and endurance helps your spirit man mature, which brings peace. This scripture includes the Peace Crown and the Faith Crown.

Nehemiah 8:10 helps us to understand that no matter what trial or season we are going through, God wants us to be stable and mature—growing—in Him and to be joyful at the same time. The verse says, And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. When we remember that each day is a holy day, it helps us to stay in a kingdom mindset, which produces ripe fruit. It’s like giving out your gems that are on your crowns. It’s priceless to have a kingdom mindset not just for yourself but also for those around you.

This is what Jesus had when he was here on earth. He cared more about people than their traditions. His ministry involved everyone—men, woman, and children. Wearing our crowns appropriately is worshipping God Yahweh. Our crowns allow us to take care of what and who belongs to God, which is worshipping God. Everything belongs to God, and how we take care of and use what He has given us matters to Him. This is called being faithful to Him, our Lord.

King Saul, even though he was anointed by God to be king, he did not wear his crown appropriately. The gems on his crown were of the flesh—self-arrogance, and jealousy. His gems lacked his love for the Lord. Woe to the crown of pride (Isa. 28:1, NKJV). Now there was another king, who wore his crown with God’s greatness. King David. His love for the Lord was filled with true humility. He spent time with the Lord. He spoke and listened to the Lord. He became obedient to the Lord. To know God is to love God, and to love God is to desire to obey him. Psalm 23 shows us a great example of intimacy with God.

One of God’s qualities is self-control. It takes discipline to put on your crowns and armor. He gave us a spirit, not of fear but of power (2 Tim. 1:7–8, ESV). This keeps us rooted in Him, and consequently, we have a strong foundation. Chapter 21 of 2 Timothy states, "Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he
