About this ebook

I don't doubt that there is something hidden in the scriptures, and I believe that numbers have a very important place in revealing what it is for the end time.

A Mathematical Witness of God's Word - Rodney Butler

Number Matching in the Old Testament

I’m about to show you a lot of things the Lord has revealed to me. Know for sure that there is much more to be found than what I’ve seen so far. After I’ve shown you how to use the keys, I hope that many of you will go to discover even more and greater things.

We will start in Genesis and work our way through to Revelation.

Let’s start with Genesis 2:11 which states, "The name of the first is Pison: that is, it which comnasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.

Hebrew 211: of uncertain derivation; Ophir, the name of a son of Joktan and of a sold region in the East: - Ophir.

In Genesis 7:02, the Lord told Noah to take the clean animals by sevens and the unclean animals by twos.

Now this is the way you write out these numbers: 7-7-2-2.

What we have now is seven males, seven females of the clean animals, and two males with their females of the unclean animals.

Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beast that are not clean by two, the male and his female. (Genesis 7:02)

Now let’s turn the key number 7722 and read it.

Hebrew 7722: from an unused root mean; to desolate(-ion) destroy, destruction, storm.

For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights: and every living substance that I have made I will destroy from off the face of the earth. (Genesis 7:04)

Now take the chapter and verse numbers and align them side by side; they become 7-2, which represents the number of the animals Noah took into the ark: sevens and twos, both males and females.

Now let’s take 7-2 and align the number 7 with them, which represents the clean animals; this becomes 7-2-7. Read Hebrew 727.

Hebrew 221: from 717 (in the sense of gathering); a box: - ark, chest, coffin.

There are two things you should notice here, the number 717 and the word ark. You will find the answer in Genesis 7:17.

And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lifted up above the earth. (Genesis 7:17)

We know that Noah and his sons, along with their wives and the animals, were gathered into the ark. Now read Hebrew 717.

Hebrew 217: a primitive root; to pluck: - gather, pluck.

The number 212 is also a signpost for salvation; read Genesis 8:04.

And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. (Genesis 8:4)

Turn to Genesis 8:13; the number to be interpreted in this verse is 601.

And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. (Genesis 8:13)

Greek 601: from 575 and 2572; to take off the cover, i.e., disclose or reveal.

Let’s take 601 and add the number 1, which represents the first month in this verse, 601+1=602; the answer will be found in the Greek word list.

Greek 602: from 601; disclosure: - appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation.

Now take 602 and add the number 1, which represents the first day of the month in this verse: 602+1=603. This answer is also in the Greek word list.

Greek 603: from a compound of 575 and a compound of kara (the head) and 1380 (in the sense of watching); intense anticipation: - earnest expectation.

Wouldn’t you have to say, this answer is most suited to Gen. 8:13, where it says, Noah looked, and beheld, and saw the earth was once again dry? Do you suppose, Noah had an intense anticipation and earnest expectation? Sure he did, for God did not fail to fulfill his promises to Noah.

If you haven’t erased the word coincidence from your vocabulary yet, I think you will by the time you finish this book. I hope you are able to see what I see, and that is the word of God is true and is alive; also, you will discover that when you hold his word in your hand, he’s holding you in his.

    Let’s move onto Genesis 49:10.

The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Genesis 49:10)

Hebrew 4910: a primitive root; to rule: - (have, make to have) dominion, governor, x indeed, reign, (bear, cause to, have), rule (-ing, -r), have power.

The scepter is a symbol of royal power: see the relation?

Now leaving Genesis, we’ll enter into Exodus and translate.

    Exodus

Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. (Exodus 12:40)

And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. (Exodus
