Out of my way, Prince Robbie, or feel the steel of my sword!
Never, Lord Gorloff. This is my kingdom, and I will defend it to the end!
Then you will die, little prince!
And Lord Gorloff's sword came slicing through the wind, just missing Prince Robbie's head by a gnat's whisker as the prince ducked and rolled up behind Lord Gorloff.
He swung his handmade sword at Gorloff's back, just nicking the black-robed lord. Gorloff screamed in anger as his sword came whistling by the young prince's left ear.
The two warriors circled each other for a minute like two lions ready to pounce on their prey.
Then in a blink of an eye, their swords met in midair with a thundering steel clash that could be heard for miles! Lord Gorloff's blow nearly knocked the young prince's sword from his hand as he brought the razor-like edge of his sword to the base of the prince's neck.
Huge bubbles of sweat oozed from the prince's face as he struggled to keep the sword of death at bay. Just as Lord Gorloff's sword was about to put an end to the young prince Robbie…
Robbie! Robbie! It's time to come in and get washed up for supper!
hollered Robbie's mom.
Robbie unwrapped himself from a low-lying limb of the huge maple tree in his front yard. As he walked away carrying his cedar stick sword, he stopped and glared at the limb, pointed his cedar stick at it, and said, We will meet again someday, Lord Gorloff!
