She Hears the Wind

About this ebook
My book is inspired by the wind. Sometimes it's as if the wind is trying to say something. It can be a powerful force to deal with. We like to control things, don't we? We like things calm, right? The wind is out of our control, and we find ways to deal with it.One night after midnight, I woke up and told myself I could hear the wind. I started writing in the dark, and I wrote some of the wind poems. I had conversations with people who said they had never seen the wind like this ever in their lives. I know what they mean. We can't forget that God is in control. Always has been, always will be. The wind--I decided to have fun with it.

She Hears the Wind
She hears the wind, inside she sighs
For now, her flower world dies
It was disappointing, the loss
Her heart has changed, no flowers
Now moss
Her love of flowers comes to an end
Gone in the winds, no more to tend
She hears the wind and its powerful cry
No more would flowers live under her sky
There was a shift, it changed her plan
She hears the wind berating man
She tells the wind she understands
He must do this, it's out of her hands
Blow, wind, blow, blow up, blow down
Blow to the cities, the country, the town
Shake up man and make him think
While you're at it, blow out the stink
Her flowers now, a memory
The wind is blowing
She can see
The Source
Who can understand the wind's ways?
From where it comes and where it goes
Where it begins, where it ends
God is the only one who knows
Though while it is traveling unseen
It searches for those whose ears are keen
Alas, the ears that hear are rare
When found, being grateful, it will share
You will learn things you did not know
The wind can be your friend or foe
Deep things, knowing ears will hear
Special words to keep, they will stay near
The one with the power to control that force
The beautiful words come from that source
Love in the Woods
In the woods, him and her
Under towering trees, they felt a stir
Birds sat quiet, the breeze was low
Deer looked on, they walked by slow
He loved her, and she loved him
In the evening when the sun was dim
He reached out, she took his hand
They stood and kissed in the wooded land
He was strong like the trees
She was soft, like the breeze
In the woods, in the woods
They stood like trees
Love's roots were strong
They prayed, "Lord, please
