    Part 1

    The Mirror

The Mirror, an ancient one, is found by Albert. It contains trapped spirits from a dead family, known for its acts of brutality and possession. These spirits soon start haunting Albert and his friends, along with his wife, and the city of Port Orchard, and maybe, the world…

    Chapter 1

    Moving In

Albert was there, standing in front of the holy two floored newly bought house, with an attic and basement. From here, he was able to see more than four windows already. 'Holy god house,’ Albert thought, and laughed. The sunlight was gleaming from the back of the house. With all these, the house really did look god-like.

The outer walls of the house were white coloured. The house's roof bent into a triangle shape, just like how all the houses would look.

The house had an absolute astounding look. It looked gorgeous, and fancier than any other houses in the neighbourhood.

So, this is our new house? asked Rachel, who was getting out of our car, after a long ride from Washington's airport.

Yes, it is, baby, Albert replied, and smiled.

Well, it looks good, she replied and smiled back.

Yes. I'll be inside now, looking around the house, Albert said, and took out the door's keys, and unlocked the main house door. 'Home sweet home,' Albert thought as he entered the house.

When entering the house, it already looked beautiful. In the front direction, far end, was where the television stand and the television itself was supposed to stand. There were two walls close to each other, separated by a hallway that led to the living room where that television was to stand. At the entrance itself as well, there were two splits of hallway, one leading to the right and one leading to the left side. The right pathway led to the kitchen, and the left pathway led to the first bedroom. In the living room, there were stairs to the left of the room leading upstairs. Albert went to the living room first, and looked around. The house looked like a literal mansion!

The kitchen and bedroom were connected to the living room as well, in a whole connected circle. Albert was surprised. The house didn't look this nice in the pictures. 'Can't expect anything,' Albert thought. He headed to the bedroom.

The bedroom looked circular, and so did the living room. The window's curtains were covered, thus making the room dark. The windows were placed above the bed,

Not bad, mumbled Albert, nodding enthusiastically. He then went to the kitchen, which was also separated by a connecting hallway.

The kitchen was the same one you'd originally see in a normal house, so Albert just decided to go upstairs.

He went back to the living room, and headed up the stairs.

Right when he reached upstairs, he looked around. There were three rooms upstairs. Two rooms were side to side, and the third room was to the front. He went to the front room first. When he went inside, the smell became a little different, but it was no problem. This room was where Albert thought of putting a study room if kids were born. There were stairs inside the room also which connected to the attic. The stairs were closeable. 'Thank god for that,' Albert thought. Unlike the rooms downstairs, the upstairs rooms were not circular. It was kind of oval shaped instead. Albert came out of the room and went into the room to the right side now.

To the right was the second bedroom. Very thin LED bulb was placed at the end of the room, just like other rooms. 'This house literally looks like an expensive house,' Albert thought.

There was an air conditioner fitted in the room. It was fitted all around the room. 'To have a cold house,' Albert thought.

Then Albert headed out of that room as well and headed to the room to the left. That room was to be kept as an extra one, Albert decided.

Albert then rushed downstairs, and switched the air conditioner on, and the living room was blasted with cool air all around.

During the summer, Port Orchard got really warm, so Albert definitely sweated going up and down. Then the door clicked behind him, as he was just about to sit on the stairs, since the cargo truck had just arrived and the couches were not placed yet.

Rachel came into the house. Albert said to her, This house isn't what I expected it to be.

She laughed. Sure. Rachel looked very beautiful. She was easily attracted by many mens. Out of those many, she had chosen Albert, and Albert had chosen her. They had both married this month, and then had moved into a new house.

'The perfect honeymoon house,' Albert thought. He also noticed there was a balcony. The door to the balcony was at the right end of the house. Albert went to the door, and opened it. He was way too surprised to see a pool there.

"Rachel, THERE IS A FREAKING POOL!" said Albert, with surprise and joy, and jumped up high like a kid, as if he was almost about to jump into the pool. The images of the house didn’t display a pool at all.

Rachel and Albert then heard a horn outside.

They're going to place the furniture in our house now, said Rachel, who appeared from the door.

    Good, Albert replied.

This is going to be the best house, and the best holiday we're going to have, Rachel said, and smiled. The smile Rachel gave made Albert give back a smile as well.

Albert got up and headed out to help the cargo people with the furniture, while Rachel went back into the house and sat down on the stairs.

Outside, Albert said to first bring the couch. The people nodded and pulled the couch from the cargo truck. Albert then helped the people by carrying the couch also.

Rachel saw Albert and the people come into the house. Albert pointed to where to keep the couch, and they put the couch at that place. 'First furniture done,' Albert thought. So this was how placing the furniture went on. It was a hell of a ride.

When Albert came to load out a couple of boxes, he had accidently dropped it and a photo had come out of the opened up box. He picked up the photo, and looked at it. It was a photo of him with his dad and mom. He looked extremely happy in the photo. He started remembering the time when his parents had said weird things.

"Albert, you're going to be chased by some spirits soon.

I'm warning you to be careful, his dad had said. They were in the basement. His dad was holding a cross against him, looking into his future, in which Albert didn't believe. But dad had eventually forced him to do this. Albert shook his head. Spirits aren't real. I won't be chased by a spirit," Albert replied, and rushed out of the basement.

He was just seven years old at that time. His parents had treated him with care. They had loved Albert. When he was twenty years old, he got attracted to Rachel. After that, Rachel realised Albert had loved Rachel. At that age as well, Albert's mother died. She died from a jewellery attack, as she was forcefully robbed and killed. Whereas his dad had died when Albert was seven,  due to something related to things stated in a ritualistic book, which his dad kept on telling him  it's going to bring good luck over the family. He didn't believe in ghost shit, so he thought it must've been something else that ended up killing him.

He had met Rachel in his college, and that is when he got attracted to her. When he became twenty–one, they married. After that, they had both moved to this new house, in his old hometown, to kind of start a new life. Rachel was twenty when Albert married.

Albert was still looking for a job. He had gotten some capital from his parents. With that capital, he had purchased this house, and he still has a good amount of capital remaining from the money his parents had given him.

Huh, this is your parents then, said Rachel, who broke Albert from his thoughts. "

Huh? What? Oh, uh, yes," Albert replied.

Rachel was able to see a small glimpse of sadness in Albert's eyes.

Why do you look sad? she asked.

My parents are dead. I lied to you about my parents being in Europe, Albert admitted.

I'm sorry to hear that, replied Rachel, with guilt that she had parents, but Albert doesn't.

    It's okay, Albert replied.

Albert went to the basement to keep the boxes in there. The basement was connected to the living room, at the right corner edge of the room. Albert didn't notice it earlier. It was so well hidden. The basement door was just like those drainage systems. You gotta pull the cover out. Albert pulled the cover out, and he looked down. There was a ladder to go down, The ladder was connected to the basement's ceiling, so that it doesn’t come out of place when coming down or going up. From here, Albert was able to see the basement's floor. The floor of the basement was made with wood! 'Interesting,' Albert thought. He reached into the basement, and looked around.

There weren't many spider webs around. The floor was not  covered with too much dust as well. The house was clean! 'Yes, hundred percent sure it's clean,' Albert thought. He searched for the switch to turn on the lightbulb. He found the switch near the ladder itself, and switched it on. Suddenly light blared from everywhere. 'Nice light system in here,' Albert thought.

There was an air conditioner in the basement as well. 'Oh my goodness. Air conditioners everywhere,' Albert thought. This was a really good house!

He didn't look at the entire basement though, because he had gotten out of the basement.

He closed the basement door, and sat on the couch, and relaxed. The house was already cool. The house also looked extremely high in height. He looked above, and saw that the living room looked like a mansion indeed. The height of the ceiling was really high.

So then, what do we do now? asked Rachel.

Albert thought, then replied, Let's go to a restaurant today, for dinner, Albert replied.

    Rachel nodded.

For now, I'll go out and meet up with our neighbours, Albert added.

Okay! I love you, she replied unexpectedly, turning the conversation from a normal one to a love conversation.

I love you too, replied Albert, and winked.

Oh, you, she said, and laughed.

Albert also laughed. He then went outside.

A man was already outside of the opposite house. He was the first one to talk.

Hey! You're new here ain't it? asked the man.

Well yes, but at the same, no Albert replied.

Welcome to the town, I guess, he replied.

Albert shook his head. I'm not new in this town, but I'm new in this neighbourhood, Albert said.

Sure. My name's Jackson, he replied.

My name's Albert, Albert replied, and crossed the road to reach the neighbour's house.

Jackson shook his head. I should've come to you instead, he said.

Eh, it's okay, Albert replied, and shrugged.

They had both spoken about their relationship, how he met Rachel, and how he had come to this town before and after. It was fun to listen to Jackson's story, and it felt the same way to reply.

One time, I accidentally hit my son, and I almost had to go to jail for that. Apparently the other neighbours thought I was dealing with a kidnapped kid, Jackson said, and Albert laughed hard.

Oh man, can't believe it, Albert said as he was laughing.

'The new neighbour is friendly,' Albert thought.

Hey. I think I heard that there is a store at the right end of the town, which sells items for cheap. I think you got to check it out. I heard people got a king sized bed for only twenty dollars. If you want to check out other stores, it's all in the left end of the town Jackson said.

Albert widened his eyes. Twenty is really less, he replied.

Yeah, I know right? Jackson said, and smirked.

Albert smiled. Well man, nice to see you. I gotta go now, Albert said. It's going to be dinner soon.

Jackson nodded, and waved goodbye to Albert. Albert waved back, and then crossed the road. 'Back to our house,' he thought.

Rachel was sitting on the couch, watching the television. The cool air suddenly made Albert feel refreshed when he entered the house. 'Why's the air conditioner still enabled?' is what Albert thought. Dumb question. He sighed. 'As usual.'

The new television was on the Nat Geo channel, and this time it was showing about magnets. 'Man, Nat Geo is too educational,' Albert thought, and almost laughed at that. 'Sure it is.'

Did you find any restaurants in this area? Albert asked.

Nope. We'll just have to find it, she replied.

I think restaurants in these areas are difficult to find, Albert said, and shrugged.

I think almost all shops, malls and restaurants are on the left end of the town, according to my remembrance of me living here, he added.

    Rachel nodded.

'But then, if that’s the case, why is that cheap store on the right end of the town?' Albert thought, asking himself. 'Well, not sure.'

Albert had then gone to change his clothes, and wore some cheap fancy dress which he got for fifteen dollars or so.

Tomorrow, I think I'll be heading out to a store, where they sell items for cheap, Albert said as he sat down on the couch, wearing some cheap fancy dress, coming out from the room he changed his shirt in. 'Stylish' is what Albert thought.

Rachel was wearing now-a-days fashion clothes. 'Pretty plain and simple,' Rachel thought. The small problem was they both were going to a restaurant which was a little bit fancy, but Albert didn't mind it. 'Just be yourself.'

They both went to the garage, as Rachel said she parked the car there when Albert was talking with the neighbour. Albert didn’t even realise or see Rachel moving the car to the garage.

As Albert and Rachel sat in the car, Albert in the driving seat, Rachel in the back seat, Albert had said, You should've worn something better than these normal clothes.

Rachel groaned, after which, she started grinning. Oh you! Nothing’s wrong if I wear normal plain clothes, she said.

Albert smiled. He then started up the car, and roared out of the garage.

Wait, you forgot to lock the garage and house door, Rachel had said when Albert had almost gotten the car on the main road.

    Christ! Right.

He got out of the car, also taking the keys with him, and locked both the garage door and the main house door. He then opened the car door and sat on the driver seat once more. Let's go then.

The air conditioner blasted cool air, which felt nice. From the car, Rachel was able to see the sun setting down. The outside atmosphere looked a little orange in colour. 'Beautiful,' Rachel thought.

After ten minutes, they had eventually reached the restaurant. The restaurant was shining bright from the area they were driving through. Albert looked around for any sign boards, and found a signboard saying, 'Parking Lot.' It was pointing towards the right, so he turned the car to the right, and parked the car inside the parking lot. He then shut the car.

We're here! Albert said, and got out.

Rachel nodded and also got out. After they both closed the doors, Albert locked the car doors.

    'Nice,' Albert thought.

When Albert and Rachel reached the entrance of the restaurant, they saw the restaurant was a two-floored one. There was a menu on top of a one-legged stand, which was placed near the entrance itself. Albert checked the menu, and saw a lot of different variants of dishes.

'Probably this is a three star hotel,' Albert thought. Above him, he saw the restaurant's name. LMK Restaurant. 'Not bad,' Albert thought about the name. 'But what did LMK stand for?'

Welcome, mister and missus, Albert heard a voice, and he looked ahead. It was one of the restaurant's waiters. Come, I'll show you a place to sit.

As Albert and Rachel went in, they both saw how crowded the restaurant really was. There was a lot of chattering around. There were mens, womens, and children all around the restaurant. There were a lot of clicking sounds coming from the forks and plates. 'Wow!' Albert thought.

The restaurant might be famous in this little town, that's what Albert thought, since there were a lot of people in the restaurant already. The waiter led them to some empty seats. Rachel and Albert sat down. The waiter had then gone to the recipient area, and brough two menu books. Thank you, Albert said, and grinned at him. He smiled back, and rushed back to the restaurant's entrance.

Albert opened up the menu, and so did Rachel. After thinking and talking about what to order, they had finally finished making the ordering list.

After ordering the food, Albert dug into his pocket for his Iphone. He found it and flipped it open, and started searching google for news.

He found the news website he always goes to, and started reading the latest news.

After what felt like fifteen minutes, their dishes finally arrived. Albert already started eating when it arrived. Rachel shook her head gently, grinning. 'Hungry as a bear, ain't it?' she thought. Albert nodded, as if he read Rachel's mind. She almost laughed at that point.

After that decent meal, they reached home, their stomachs filled up extremely. Albert felt like his stomach was literally going to burst open.

He unlocked the house door, and went to his room directly. The air conditioner was still blowing air. 'Forgot to turn the air conditioner off,' Albert thought, and sighed. 'Of course.'

He had then gone directly to the bedroom, and changed clothes. Albert then found a remote in that room. It was hanging on a holder which was fixed to the wall, near to the door which led to the living room. He took it, and pressed a random button on the remote. The lighting got dark in the room. He pressed another button on the remote, and the lighting turned dark blue in colour. 'Wow!' Albert thought. 'Never knew this existed in the house.'

Rachel was in the bathroom, changing her clothes. Albert decided to shut the lights off, and go to sleep. Albert felt like it
