Medical School In A Nutshell - Adeboye Oluwajuyitan, M.D.

This book will give you a fundamental (ba- sic) understanding of how your body works and the common disorders and maybe some treatment tips.

    WHAT IT IS NOT:

    -  A substitute for a doctor’s advice

    -  A substitute for medical school

    -  A book of Medicine

It is just me passing some of my knowledge to you in a simple way so you can more easily understand how your body works and your possible issues in a less complex way.

Eye - SIGHT Ears - HEARING

Tongue - TASTING Skin - FEELING Nose - SMELLING

Sometimes, people wear glasses for reading or for other problems of the eyes like

    Short-sightedness Long-Sightedness Astigmatism Photo-sensitivity

Which are all correctable with lenses

Other eye disorders especially in adults and the elderly include

    Cataract Glaucoma

    Macular Degeneration

    Which may need eye surgery.

Did you know that the black circle in the center of your eye lets doctors know if you are still alive or not? It is called the PUPIL and it reacts to light and darkness (constriction and dilation).

Did you know there is a sensitive part of your nostrils called the Kisselbach’s Plexus or Area that is prone to bleeding after persistent catarrh, sneezing, or cold?
