    ABOUT AUTHOR

    INTRODUCTION

’52 weeks of transfromation’ contains 52 Kingdom principles aimed at transforming the readers' lives and bringing them into a more wholesome relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, other believers, and the world at large. God’s desire for every Christian is wholeness. He wants us to be fruitful in every aspect of our lives and to enjoy His rich blessings. He also wants us to be better equipped to expand His Kingdom to the ends of the earth.

This devotional will stir you to seek God more fervently and to serve Him more acceptably. I desire it to fill you with greater hunger and thirst for God’s presence and take everyone in the valley of despair to great heights of joy, peace, and all-around transformation.

Each week, you will be exposed to a common challenge faced by people, especially believers, the kingdom principle to overcome this problem, and God’s promises for us as overcomers. You will also be challenged to practice what you have learned as you pray and declare God’s truth over yourself. Lastly, you will dig deeper into God’s word to learn more about the week's principle and equip yourself further for Kingdom service.

May Jesus be revealed to you more deeply, and may you come to love Him more and more as you journey through this devotional.

    WEEK ONE

    THANKSGIVING

    TEXT: Luke 17: 12-19

    THE CHALLENGE

Everybody has received one thing or the other from the Lord in the previous year, but not everyone has been grateful to Him for what they have received. Like the ten lepers, we have all had challenges and situations that made us cry out to God, and He has graciously heard our cries and sent us help. However, like the nine ungrateful lepers, many have not deemed the Lord worthy of thanks. Ingratitude is a massive problem in our world today because many of us feel entitled to God’s blessings. Has God done great things for you in the just concluded year? How thankful have you been to Him for all He has done for you?

    KINGDOM PRINCIPLE

Thanksgiving is a kingdom principle that positions a man for tremendous success and blessings. For example, the Samaritan leper that chose to give Jesus thanks was made completely whole. While the other nine lepers were cured of their leprosy only, this man was financially, mentally, and socially restored. Every aspect of his life received the touch of the Master because he expressed his gratitude. Thanksgiving makes God give us more than we have asked for. It makes God willing to bless and increase us exponentially.

Another thing that thanksgiving does is that it draws us closer to God’s heart. While the nine lepers related with Jesus from afar and even moved farther from Him when they received their miracle, the Samaritan drew closer to Jesus as he gave thanks. The Bible records that he fell on his face at his feet. Thanksgiving placed him in greater proximity to Jesus and opened the heart of Jesus to perfect all that concerned him.

    GOD’S PROMISE

When we thank God, He gives us much more than we can ask or imagine. God loves to bless us, but He is more inclined to pour out His blessings without reservations on those that are grateful to Him. Our thanksgiving makes us enjoy wholeness in every aspect of our lives. So, as the year begins, let your gratitude rise to God for all He has done and will do. Thank Him for all the good things you enjoyed and all the great things He has prepared for you. God has greater things that can only be unlocked as you engage the principle of thanksgiving.

    PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I am a grateful person, not a complainer. I give thanks to the Lord at all times. I enjoy wholeness in every area of my life because I express my gratitude to God. Thank you, Lord, because I am always thankful.

    PRACTICE VERSE

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalms 100:4.

Enter the year with thanksgiving and bless the name of the Lord at all times!

    WEEK 2

    PUT GOD FIRST

    TEXT: 1 Kings 17:8-15

    THE CHALLENGE

At the beginning of every year, we make plans. Often, we create better strategies than the previous year and make strong resolutions. We start with great determination, passion, and enthusiasm but often without God. Yes, I know you might want to argue this. After all, you spent your first morning in God’s presence and even spent some hours praying about the new year. Maybe you even went on a retreat before the new year. As good as all of these are, there is more. God doesn’t want us to give Him a couple of days in the year and then run off without Him for the rest of the year. He wants us to put Him first in everything, which means knowing His will and making our plans based on the revelation of His will. Just like the poor widow of Zarephath, we are often tempted to put our legitimate desires above God’s plans.

Putting God first is a vital Kingdom principle that sets men apart. Putting God first means:

Seeking God’s face about all your decisions and plans.

Listening to His instructions concerning them and obeying Him.

Making His Kingdom your topmost priority.

Living a holy life and pleasing Him in your words, thoughts, decisions, and actions.

Choosing His will above your comfort.

    KINGDOM PRINCIPLE

If the poor widow had chosen to preserve her life rather than put Elijah first, she would have enjoyed her last meal with her son and died. Her decision to take the step of faith to put God’s instructions first made the difference between life and death. God wants you
