    About the Author

    Your Brain

The human brain is a brilliant machine! If only we knew the potency this simple organ possesses, we would certainly invest more in knowledge and training for the mind.

Before initiating this promising journey, we need to better understand the functioning of the brain; after all, knowing yourself is one of the greatest - and most fundamental - challenges of human existence.

    What does my brain desire?

Each fiber of the human body, just like with animals, desires survival and comfort. The mind works constantly to conduct our actions towards well-being, always attentive to the circumstances to detect any threat against survival.

Therefore, the mind gathers information, interprets it, and works to eliminate all the possibilities of pain, discomfort, and death. That’s why, if we don’t fight against our human nature, we will forever be accommodated, lazy, and scared.

To connect this question to the central theme of this book, I want to highlight the impressive ability of storing images, emotions, and meanings that the brain has. Don’t get scared with unknown terms... Everything will be very well explained (modesty aside).

The information derived from these traumas are kept, not for harm, but precisely for the well-being of the person. At least that’s what the mind understands. The human instinct has good intentions, but the truth is that these scars concealed in the deep regions
