We have all lost something in our lives and know the feelings of joy when we find it again. Sadly though, when we don’t find it, we realise that it’s lost forever.
We too can all be lost and found in so many ways. Sometimes we can be lost and not even know it. We can be happily going along when we realise that we have taken a wrong turn somewhere.

THE FAIR

Many years ago, my parents took our little family to the seaside for the day. This was quite a treat for my two sisters and me. We had been looking forward to it for a long time and this was the day to go.

As we were packing up our sandwiches for lunch, the warm sunshine outside was a welcome sight. So we took the chance and packed our swimsuits too. In those days, living in the little villages of South Wales, we always expected some rain clouds in the forecast. We knew that the beach was quite a way from our house but the winding roads made the car trip seem to take forever.
