    We are called upon to tear up the rulebook… We must daringly rip up that deviously oppressive rulebook, thereby creating completely new avenues to scrutinize and understand the significance of yesterday in our pursuit of redemptive rehabilitation. Without contention, we must pursue this ethical mission, not with impulsive defiance; but with vigorous resolve. We ought to grace our neutered neighbours who are confined alongside us by an odd quirk of fate in this epic journey. We ought to grace these humans with our spirited, yet restrained presence amidst the impermanence and fragility of life. As we engage in a comprehensive dialogue to embark upon our heroic getaway, we ought to remain steadfast in our support for the new avenues, even when they are minimized by sceptics. This would simply permit us to address our ethical dilemmas as we escape from the suffocating constraints of revolting duplicity which are imposed on our cognitive processes by the plutocratic elites courtesy of the relentless and omnipotent outsider. We are invited to explore new avenues that would permit us to partake fully in our own grand rescue in a particularly active and selfless manner. Thus, we are in the vanguard of reform in the noble realm of ‘regenerative’ intervention.

    The sublime Child, Menyinge Ekane, I apologise for spending valuable hours on this project instead of dedicating much more attention to you. Well, buddy, I really do not have the answers to all of your otherworldly questions, but I would encourage you to continue projecting that spirit of brilliance everywhere you go. In all humility, I must state that you are the prime motivating force behind my resolve. I would return home after a long and exhausting day at my job, and fall asleep on the couch, only to wake up by the sound of your voice: "Wake up, Papa! Paapaaa… wake up, and let’s finish this work!" Needless to say, you were just six years old at the time, and whenever we completed the task, you would quickly fall asleep. I am exceptionally appreciative of your uncritical patience, your profound curiosity, and your boundless joviality.

    Auntie Julie M. N., in all meekness, you watched me wrestle [hard] with my travails without ever questioning my motives. Rather, you were there, to provide a profound sense of comforting grace which permeated through my entire life at the peak of my tumultuous moments.     Finally, I must express my gratitude to our brilliant forebears. Their unsurpassed and masterful legacy has been jealously preserved in a masterly fashion, to say the least. It is noteworthy to state that this book is essentially a back-to-basics exploration into the realm of our cosmic structure. The book is exclusively intended to raise awareness about the relevance of our ancestral patrimony as regards the pursuit of our belated regeneration.

    In a word, this endeavour is just a token way of repaying the debt of honour that I owe to my ancestors. So, I request their favour in accepting and blessing this present as I state that this book is to be explored in quiet meditation; and not to be read out. I may therefore underline the importance of not being perfunctory in this exploration.

    Observational curiosity, introspective intuition, and self-discovery are the start points for [personal] salvation. So, if I am not doing something which is uniquely contemplative, then I must be doing something that precludes my own personal salvation, that is to say I am doing something immoral. I should underline that these ideas engender transfiguration and autonomous action which are all integral ingredients of self-improvement as typified by the redemptive impulse of regenerative transformation. I am not producing anything that is extraordinary, but I like to approach life [alternatively] as I attempt to harness the exceptional powers of introspective intuition. This, I believe, is a reliable way of exploring the uncharted realm of "meyuntan".

    There are three important aspects to take into account in this project which spotlights the pertinence of timeless universality. Firstly, this is a [back-to-basics] campaign to raise awareness about the value of contemplative exploration in connection with our pursuit of societal regeneration. The arguments aptly transcend the traditional right-wing rodomontade [of the defenders] of hegemonic absolutism. Secondly, almost all the timeless concepts in this analysis are constitutive of the local Bakossi [ancestral] patrimony. These concepts are just as profound as they are comprehensive in terms of appeal. Thirdly, I may justly submit that adulteration remains the most timeless of [our] social pathologies as it encompasses a whole range of misadventures, notably: cosmic modification; persuasive self-enslavement; fratricidal bloodletting; self-induced entrapment; and incomplete socialization, to name a few. These aspects are to be aptly considered as purely consequential. To achieve regeneration, we ought to [embrace] this rather fertile pattern: edification, covenant, and finally comprehensive remediation in this order.

    In a word, this back-to-basics campaign would permit our people to embrace the instructive insights into our diminished ancestral patrimony in the following way:

    Words and concepts

    ‘Added-value militarism’: a reflective military inclination which highlights the complex interplay between the belief and dependence on the self, as well as the belief and dependence on the curious community as a whole.

    ‘Distressed Female Militancy’, DFM: the ruthless, relentless and retaliatory exercise of power by a psychologically anguished and rancorous female who rashly employs political intrigue, blackmail, and even violence to address a perceived mistreatment regarding the circumstances which shroud her aggrieved state.

    ‘Ebaetet’: an agonizing state of anguish [in Akosse which is the language of the Bakossi people of Cameroon]. It bespeaks a general atmosphere of injurious hostility such as what is experienced in wartime. In this book, ebaetet will be spoken of in terms of ungovernable hostility.

    ‘Ebeng’: a misfortune which is indicative of the odious abomination in the calamity of ‘impure death’ [in Akosse]. It is purely and simply founded on the premise of dying without dignity in a state of total obscurity. In the metropolis, this type of undignified death is popularly referred to as ‘hot death’.

    ‘Ecstatic guilt’: the rather mystifying idea of a synthetic kind of joyousness which is expressed amid a sense of incapacity that is deeply embedded in the conscience.

    ‘Ekwang’: a dish that is typical of our local metropolitan cooking.

    ‘Ekoyi’: it simply means passionate hatred [in Akosse].

    ‘Epoutet’: a grievous state of anarchy [in Akosse]. It primarily signifies pervasive disorientation which permeates the moral fibre of people’s lives as aptly typified by subversive obstinacy that is manifest in obscurity.

    ‘Esuba ne nzab’ ngeng’: a local and highly nutritious metropolitan dish [of the Bakossi folk].

    ‘Esuntan’: it means deeper understanding.

    ‘Etollemwan’: a spoilt child [in Akosse] that is raised in a tangle of abject indulgence.

    ‘Grigri’: a local metropolitan slang expression which refers to the invocation of maleficent spirits as some type of protection from evil attacks.

    ‘Impure death’: a term which simply means dying without dignity.

    ‘Inhibitory moral solecism’: this affliction is a potently devastating moral defect. The notion of ego-induced Schadenfreude is an integral aspect of this affliction.

    ‘Kaba ngondo’: a popular metropolitan gown that is worn by women.

    ‘Latent insanity’: this merely consists of periodic bouts, not necessarily of mental derangement, but of impulsive and disruptive aggressiveness that brings cryptic recklessness out of dormancy.

    ‘Liputa’: a legitimate piece of clothing that is wrapped around the waist by metropolitan women [in Lingala from the Democratic Republic of Congo].

    ‘Lombitane’: a concept [in the Douala language] which means presumptuous superficiality (Ekane, 2019: 285).

    ‘Mbohlah’: a wooden pestle [in Akosse] which local metropolitan women use together with a wooden mortar to pound cocoyams.

    ‘Meyuntan’: silent contemplation which may also be spoken of in terms of organic thought.

    ‘Motnemuantung’: a dynamic military concept which is essentially about the gutsy warrior who caters for his fellow combatants and spineless citizens alike through a firm hand mentoring as typified by the idea of four-square self-reliance, including self-actualization in battle.

    ‘Nchintan’: the principle that local decisions ought to be arrived at through the moral agency of altruistic compatriots as predicated on deliberative interdependence which orientates a community with a greater sense of togetherness.

    ‘Nchume’ bwel’: a glorious concept [in Akosse] with an expansively consummate [or comprehensive] vision of societal organization (Ekane, 2019: 10).

    ‘Ndole’: a classic metropolitan dish; otherwise referred to as the Metropolitan pride.

    ‘Nsang’: a blessing [in Akosse, the Bakossi language].

    ‘Pure Militarism’: a sound military doctrine that is governed by utility and civic virtue maximization, as typified by cultural pluralism vis-à-vis the interplay between the notions of introspective intuition, militaristic utility, social constructivism, and comprehensive remediation.

    ‘Red carpet combat’: for a soldier, this is about that surreal feeling of homecoming from a brutal war [and the tormenting unison singing of semi-automatic gunfire] to lick his wounds and feel human again within the warm loins of a decent woman.

    ‘Sienze’: a soldier [in Akosse, the Bakossi language].

    ‘Spiritual massacre’: is a potent symbol of the dystopian metropolis that is purposefully enmeshed in a gruesome net of grim volatility and ungovernable death.

    ‘Tactical intimacy’: a notion which connotes the idea of self-preservation for a soldier who leads an active life of soldiering.

    ‘The Calamitous school of political change’: the strong belief that a calamitous insurrection is merely an absolute political necessity.

    ‘The cavalier Commander’: an impulsive officer whose actions are not necessarily inspired by moral goodness as he urges soldiers in active combat to employ brute force in exterminating entire communities; actions which will decidedly be classed as a deliberate infliction of unnecessary physical injury.

    ‘The functional Mother’: the restful and maternal pragmatist who duly understands the value in the interplay between frugality, nurturing and sanctioning of conduct.

    ‘The decorative mother’: a distinctly ornamental ideologue whose unwise actions are typified by an appalling abrogation of responsibility, neglectful parenting, lamentation, and apportionment of culpability.

    ‘The jackleg Samaritan’: a bellicose political messiah with an ego of steel.

    ‘The nation of perversity’: a dystopian social space that is awash with dysfunctional behaviours, inexplicable oddities, sorrowful absurdities, and sociological incongruities. (See Ekane, 2019: 450).

    ‘The Redemptive school of military intervention’: an alternative vision of militarism which is founded on a sound military doctrine that is governed by both utility and civic virtue maximization.

    ‘The reformed Soldier’: a prodigious combatant with an inordinately vested interest in ‘pure militarism’.

    ‘The restive Child’: a concept which essentially implies not caring about being perceived as illogical by the wider society and its mainstream mode of operation.

    ‘The sane state’: a vibrant society of potency with masses of judicious people who have been rescued from the vapid nation of perversity.

    ‘Vie facile’: a classic life of undeserved entitlement whereby people lay firm claims on things that they never earned by their own sacrifice.

    ‘WID’: Wasp-induced deterrence [a tactic which is integral to ‘Motnemuantung’].

    INTROSPECTION

    Edubé éche benyame [In honour of our kindred ancestral spirits]

    Weaponized entrapment in an adulterated universe

    Metropolitan folk, you are called upon to raise your damn standards! You are invited to consider your perceptions critically in a measure to rid your universe of fratricidal bloodletting. This bloodletting, along with bait-and-bleed, is among the most grievous of your social problems. As a matter of fact, bloodletting remains an oddly agonizing misfortune which continues to torment even your political elites and military planners to no end.

    Violence is a flagrant social problem in an adulterated universe. This violence, which includes [political] violence, arises as a result of the exercise of power in a dystopian setting that is plagued by political opportunism, moral degradation, and unspeakable impunity. Under such ungovernable circumstances, survival becomes a motive force, and subservience to hegemonic overlords and local warlords alike becomes a [social] norm. Violence is simply a sine qua non of survival in an adulterated universe that is plagued by the trauma and baseness [in] weaponized entrapment.

    Emotional and psychological distress are constitutive elements of violence. Thus, I should underline that the discourse of violence in this analysis will transcend the boundaries of the usage of force to inflict physical injury.

    Across the overly embattled Kensington Avenue, Philadelphia, in the United States, this perception of violence in terms of psychological distress can be observed among scores of individuals who have been rendered virtually powerless by an unimaginable level of drug addiction. These powerless individuals who arguably live at the fringes of a sociologically shattered society are plagued by self-induced agony as they resign themselves to the burden of substance-induced conformity. The distressed masses are emblematic of oppression imposed by weaponized entrapment.

    Generally, humans tend to resort to standards of conformity which are imposed through violent impulses in a measure to safeguard their own survival. People do not necessarily conform to violence out of their own volition, but typically because their conduct has been conditioned [and even commissioned] through the violent exercise of power. Therefore, what we regard as standards of personal conduct are in reality, a yardstick of subservience which bespeaks measures that were externally designed to shape behaviour in particular ways. So in effect when people [states] resort to armed conflict, they are actually acting in accordance with a particular type of existentialist logic which may be somewhat hideous to observers, although this logic is explicable in this adulterated universe of ours.

    Subservience is interwoven with conformity in a particularly depressing manner, even in the postmodern realm.

    This notion of conforming to the violent exercise of power can be used to explain the [conduct] of Amber Heard who was sued for defamation by Johnny Depp. In this rather classic case of Uncharted Conspiracy which involved what I would term the exploitation of "Distressed Female Militancy", political intrigue was manifestly used in the impassioned pleas of Amber Heard who framed her case on domestic violence. Keep in mind, [domestic] violence bespeaks passionate violence which is in essence, political. The weaponized issue of domestic violence is often employed by distressed women to entrap men in a horrid tangle of bureaucratic hassle, thereby subjecting the [said] men to the vileness of punitive damages in the glacial courthouses.

    Although more or less insufferable, a good many people would find the subject of passionate violence somewhat sexy. The borderline between abiding passion and the eruption of violence is often difficult to define, given that passionate violence is very perplexing. Passionate violence, it must be underlined, pertains to odious schemes of Uncharted Conspiracy which impose a hideous burden on the conscience of whoever employs it; whilst it subjects the afflicted to unimaginable oppression.

    The [afflicted] is put under relentless pressure amid a faceless bureaucratic hassle. In effect, faceless bureaucracy is potently exploited by vastly exploitative individuals to emasculate the afflicted through an insidiously vicious combination of political intrigue, gaslighting, vile manipulation, naming and shaming, blackmail and coercive intimidation. A deep psychological scar is nonetheless left on the mind of the exploiter who is confined in a mood of despondency whenever the powerless victim survives the ferocious and narcissistic onslaught. It is all about overcoming the punishing effects of experiential victimization by sociopaths and psychopaths alike; an exploit which leaves humanity breathless with excitement. Meanwhile, the exploiter wallows in ecstatic guilt as he [she] relishes the odd and odious seductions of life in obscurity.

    I ought to underline that this idea of experiential victimization applies to a variety of actors in the political [sociological] system. This may include individuals, companies, organizations, states and even Great powers with a particularly narcissistic personality or precept of conduct.

    I have been a victim of this Uncharted Conspiracy when I was accused of trying to liquidate my godlike toddlers, although I am a combatant that would not squash a revolting fly with intent to cause harm!

    Shared victimization or humiliation tends to forge an airtight bond of victimhood across a transboundary community of victimized peoples. I will get back to this topic when I address the normalization of errors in judgement. The weaponized issue of domestic violence is an integral aspect of this idea of normalizing errors in [human] judgement whereby distressed women, for the most part, would purposefully entrap men in a bureaucratic hassle, thereby enmeshing the men in a tangle of vileness and punitive damages in the arguably politicized courthouses.

    Johnny, a socially advantaged White man would share a common identity with scores of underprivileged folks on the basis of experiential victimization, although it may not be obvious to such a favoured White female as Amber Heard who keenly believes that institutions protect men [who are] accused of abuse.

    However, on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, a Virginia jury handed down a verdict in favour of Johnny Depp. The jury disregarded the following statement from Amber Heard as spotlighted below. This is just one out of several impassioned complaints of hers, charging domestic violence based on her alleged mistreatment from her violent, volatile, undignified, dishonourable, and untrustworthy ex-husband who may be seen at face value as an impulsive and impolitic miscreant, or psychopath at worst:

    I was harassed, humiliated, and threatened everyday… I spoke up against sexual violence… I became a public figure representing domestic abuse.

    The seven-person jury in Fairfax, Virginia seemed unimpressed by this rather classic declaration of female sexual militancy [FSM]. Incidentally, Amber Heard had earlier challenged Johnny Depp to sue her for assault and battery; a weaponized ploy which is often relentlessly used by some hawkish women to put certain men in check. This ploy bespeaks a type of conditioning that is imposed through the violent exercise of power, which is what usually occurs during incidences of passionate violence. So, it could be suggested that Amber Heard conformed to passionate violence in a measure to maximize her chances of survival in an adulterated universe that is plagued by the trauma and baseness in weaponized entrapment. She exploited her resources as fully as possible in accordance with her distressed militancy. This aptly resonates with the notion of passionate violence which has racked humanity for centuries.

    Notwithstanding Amber Heard’s belief about [institutional] bias against women as regards accusations of abuse, I think Amber should be reminded that institutions tend to impose bureaucratic hassles that are mercilessly unforgiving toward men. Weirdly, some distressed females take fiendish delight in dragging men to court, as they hotly pursue the goal of conforming to standards of [passionate] violence. Such females, it must be emphasized, feel unspeakable antagonism toward the men in question.

    When supposed victims joyously victimize other victims, we may justly speak of an affliction which is akin to self-induced entrapment.

    Standards of conformity which are imposed through passionate violence, or the threat of passionate violence provide adequate safeguards to prevent an escape from the highly volatile confines of obscurity as I will henceforth elucidate.

    On Saturday, May 14th, 2022, Payton Gendron, an eighteen year old White male infiltrated [a supermarket in] a predominantly Black community in Buffalo, New York, and massacred ten Black people. The deceased included six women and four men who brutally surrendered their lives in what could justly be viewed as a racially motivated extermination. Whilst the tragedy is alternately despicable and puzzling, it belies an analytically engrossing sense of logic which is hidden beneath a shroud of weaponized entrapment. Flagrant violation of the code of [sociological] sanity in a deeply fragmented society is what Payton Gendron’s violent action could be dubbed, even as he was charged with first-degree murder. The bloodbath did not take place in a clean and unspoiled White neighbourhood of New York, which makes the whole misfortune even more analytically intriguing as regards social research.

    Payton Gendron had to conform to standards of [passionate] violence in a measure to safeguard against his very own volatility. It is a matter of survival; a flagrant battle of the entrapped and stricken conscience. The plot of the mass homicide may seem somewhat contrived, although it follows a certain type of logic which is promoted by the gun-ownership advocacy. Political intrigue may simply not be ruled out, given an ultra-weaponized state of affairs in an awfully dispirited universe which is racked by ruinous politics. This universe, with little contention, seems bound for rack and ruin, if not a hideous sociopolitical cataclysm altogether.

    The fatalities of the mass execution in Buffalo are rightfully victims of hate crime. Meanwhile, the assailant is confined on the ultra-volatile section of baseness, therein lies the crux of political intrigue as typified by passionate violence. It is quite hard to imagine that Payton Gendron was born just eighteen years ago: quite a heavy burden to bear in a lifetime of just eighteen meagre years!     We are duly called upon to employ both curiosity and observation as we scrutinize with objectivity and rationality, the [im]morality that shrouds our predicament in this awfully shattered and bleeding universe of ours. Just like situational antipathy, observational curiosity usually arises out of unfamiliarity with issues (Ekane, 2019: 36). So, we ought to be curious if our interest is to uncover the underlying dynamics of the political intrigues which act as a preclusion to the rehabilitation of our embattled universe.

    Nevertheless, if individuals decide to rationalize our humiliation in alignment with callousness, then we are essentially bound to remain confined in the glacial depths of obscurity. I am only referring to the trackless wilderness of nothingness. We ought to escape from that [dishonourable] odd box, whereupon envision our regeneration via responsiveness: responsiveness to our local needs firstly, and then to the external world. This is what the "doctrine of regenerationism" would entail as I will expound in due course. Thus, the importance of posing hard questions cannot be overstated in this analysis of fratricidal bloodletting which is plaguing our society.

    It is by virtue of sheer eagerness that the desire to learn is sparked in people… and the more curious we are about something, the greater our motivation to explore the situation for our benefit (Ekane, 2019: 36).

    One of the penalties for an apathetic approach to life is that it heightens lethargic despair which merely nourishes bureaucratic impassivity. The purveyors of political violence have a mastery of this dynamics which they habitually exploit to the fullest, much to the chagrin of those who seldom question circumstances. So, it is really not an overstatement to suggest that these purveyors of political violence are particularly dishonourable and immoral mortals who bottle-feed on blood to stay in the national spotlight. These odious political saboteurs spill blood with unbridled lust for power. Meanwhile, the [powerless] masses have to scrape to survive in a revolting game of political correctness which makes no sense. This is indeed an odious crime which bespeaks the stupefying quintessence of self-induced entrapment.

    If people refuse themselves the liberty to stand up for themselves in a measure to redress the balance, what happens in general is that the people would get themselves exposed to even more repellent schemes of political intrigue.

    This dynamics is often keenly observed in companies where the labourers never protest in fear of compromising their daily bread. Thus, the workers continue to bear the full brunt of the vastly impassive feedback from their bosses whose intransigence merely gets reinforced by the lack of balls of the workers to ensure that they have the impassive bosses by the balls through the potent power of group action. Questioning phenomena usually brings forth a staggering [sense of] relief from the powerlessness of anguishing despair. Like little children thus, we ought to be inquisitorial whenever necessary. I have to tender this rather introspective submission with both a measured enthusiasm and a comforting spirit of exploration.

    In a world of sanity, no man should suffer in silence, for contemplative silence has power only to the extent that it is used as a weapon.
