Joseph Thompson rolled his shoulders as he stood in front of the tattoo shop. Compared to the others he’d driven past, this one was classy. It appeared to be a well-maintained building, and through the window, he could see several potted plants in the waiting room.

The bells above the door jingled as he stepped inside. The man behind the counter was not who he was looking for. From Ryker Hargrave’s, Joe’s best friend’s description, the man in question must be Rob Woodson.

After they exchanged pleasantries, Joe asked, Is Rissa here?

Rissa Woodson had done an amazing job on Ryker’s tattoo, and if he was going to do something crazy, he wanted the best to do it. She’d done an eagle with a snake in its beak across his side and stomach.
