I Gave Up My Life to Find IT - Jule Gaige

    Introduction

    A

s you take these few moments to realize your greatness amid this wondrous universe, know that there is true purpose behind your presence. It is much greater than the acceptance of being only human. We are alive in this world, as facilitators of strength; the power of creation exists as us the moment we realize that potential.

Do you ever stop and realize that although it is not visible, we are confident (we take it for granted) that we do not fly off into space because of an invisible force that we call ‘gravity,’ which keeps us in place?

To remember the fullness, all we need do is look up into the sky; or at the movement of the waves of the ocean; or hear the words of Truth that vibrates to unlimitedness. We see one small part of the infinite expanse. We realize there is nothing left out, as we observe the natural growth of the vast array of flowers and trees that stem from miniscule seeds. We see the order, as we encounter the birds in flight, and the mammals and fish that occupy the world waterways. Then, we reflect not only the expression of life, but also that their needs fulfilled.

We see the unity when the sun comes up or goes down, or when the seasons change. We see it in the flow of the rivers and streams, and the way water seeks its own level. We see it in the birth process and the growth stages of the baby and then, the child and on.

There is even unity in hurricanes or tornadoes or any other event of nature. We have an innate knowing that all responds in the Infallible Way even before we realize that we are part of an inseparable from that Way. The Infallible Way is present that we experience all needed, even when we resist those needs due to our imperfect understanding.

It is the activity of an invisible power that is responsible for all of creation. It surrounds us, is in us, as us, and through us; in fact, it is us. The task at hand for all of us is to overcome resisting that Truth, realizing that we are united with the Whole of God. Thus, from our Truth, there is no separation. It is the Infallible Way.

    ~

Sit quietly for a moment and allow now to be exclusively your time. Totally become you-centered. Instead of seeing yourself merely as form or physical body, feel and see beyond to the true substance of you. There is infinitely more present and accessible than what appears in the physical world. Instead of relating yourself only to the material world, relate yourself to the Absolute, of which you are a natural part.

See yourself, as a vital energy of this universe. Close your eyes and ask yourself this simple, but direct, question —why am I here? What is my purpose in the grand scheme of things? Then, allow your intuition to answer the questions!

Look around at the things you acquired, the relationships you are in, as well as the situations that encompass your life. Then, ask yourself — why is all this present in my life? What does it all mean? How does it relate to my state of mind? How can I use it to determine the cause of situations that take form?

And, most of all, how can I change those situations and relationships? Then, reflect that in the scheme of this universe, you play a magnificent part. You are a vital existence of power. In fact, the universe is incomplete without you; you express in a way no one else expresses. With the creative flow of unconditional love, unlimitedness is present and available to each of us.

Over the course of a lifetime, however, many of us have forgotten what we are. In fact, our potential is so vast (so infinite) that we lose sight of it. We lose sight of it because we learned to look for difficulty, despite simplicity.

I recall hearing a lecturer say, As humans, we are complex.  Yes, as humans that resist our Truth, we learn to accept and project complexity into our lives. That expression forms corresponding experiences not only in our individual lives, but also those that filter into the world. We look for difficulty because we learned not to realize our true creative potential. We see ourselves as less, which becomes the state of affairs.

As we (humans with the infinite potential) understand; accept; and walk in the path of our Truth, we express simply. We express simply because the principles in action are simple by design. All along the simplicity of the answers are and have always been present. We have simply forgotten the breadth of our Truth.

We see the coherence when the sun comes up or goes down, or when the seasons change. We see it in the flow of the rivers and streams, and the way water seeks its own level. We see it in the birth process and the growth stages of the baby. We even see unity in hurricanes or tornadoes or any other event of nature. We have an innate knowing that all responds in the Infallible Way even before we realize that we are part of an inseparable from that Way. The Infallible Way is present that we experience all needed, even when we resist those needs due to our imperfect understanding.

Further, we depend upon our planet revolving in alignment with the other planets. And, if the planets are on the course of collision, it aligns with the perfection to the whole of the universe. Although not visible, we are confident (we take it for granted) that we do not fly off into space because of an invisible force that we call ‘gravity,’ which keeps us in place.

It is the activity of an invisible power that is responsible for all of creation. It surrounds us, is in us and through us; in fact, it is us. It is more than a power that is within us. Rather, it in us. There is a striking difference since to have something within us means it must be separate to become a part of us. The notion that God is within you affirms a separate God is part of you. But God being in you is that God is inherent in what and who you are from the creation. God is omnipresent. The task at hand for all of us is to overcome resisting that Truth, realizing that we are One with the Whole of God. Thus, there is no separation.

When we resist our true potential, we lose the prospective of how vast and significant that power is. What is more, as we resist our Truth, we forget our relation to the Absolute. By accepting those limitations in mind, we learned to forget our infinite capacity.

If we express limitations in mind, we hold back the grandness that is already present. That is, we are One with the power of the universe, which occurs when we express from the depths of our Truth. It is not separate from us; rather, it is what we already are the moment that we realize that we are the whole. To realize our Truth, we must first unlearn the limitations we accepted in mind and remember our true purpose.

I recall a discussion I had with a lady. She listened to an account of my movement as I related repair of a break in my mind. A break caused by mind is what I call the resistance that causes the separation (break) from our Truth.

This led her to quickly assess her breaks caused by mind. She said, My goodness, I learned all these limitations, didn’t I? Grateful for her candor, I acknowledged, Yes, we learn our limitations. However, we can overcome what we have learned and make way for the infinite potential that is already present.

Yes, we learn the limitations. They are not the essence of us, but when we resist our Truth, we accept the corresponding limitations in mind. Therefore, we cause the state of affairs in our world. Resisting Truth becomes our expression; we project the breaks into our world, which become the world experiences. We learn the limitations by what we accept as real; we learn from family members, our government, our churches, our school, and our peers.

As you take these few moments to realize your greatness amid this wondrous universe, know that there is true purpose behind your presence. It is much greater than the acceptance of being only human. We are alive in this world, as facilitators of strength; the power of creation exists as us the moment we realize that potential.

Even before my decision to do what I must to realize my Truth, I experienced curiosity. It represented a passageway to my innate knowing. It alerts us to our capacity to know that there was so much more available. I wanted desperately to know my true potential.

This writing is the expression that stems from my experiences. By way of a powerful urging, I felt it nigh to plunge into the sea of infinite potential and make my move beyond the practice of law and everything else I formed by thinking less.

This book precedes The Infallible Way, which is the modern guide to true potential. It is my story of commitment to the means of repairing the breaks caused by mind. It includes the steps to repair those breaks. It chronicles my rise above resistance in areas of health, money, material detachments, business, relationships, and matters of success and purpose.

To live freely and experience the joy of Truth, it is necessary to ‘walk your talk,’ as you become an expression of Truth. In one way or another, this writing could easily be a record of the experiences of anyone of us. We all have the capacity to rise above the apparent chaos and conflict that seem like slings and arrows. All we need do is commit to our unique expression that includes how we fit into the scheme of things in this vast and perfect universe.

Now, I extend my gratitude, as I offer my findings to all who wish to move beyond limitations to realize Truth. You will certainly realize your greatness. Further, you will recognize your tremendous expression.

In addition, to support awareness, I have included a glossary of relevant terms after this Introduction; and then, frequently asked questions and answers, as an Appendix to the book.

    True Potential

    D

espite the hate; uncertainty; despair; anger; lack; and fear that now, more than ever, appear to engulf the world, the potential exists for love; confidence; peace; joy; and abundance. In fact, the seeming unrest and anguish responds to imperfect understanding that has become part of consciousness, such as acceptance that we are merely human.

I realized early in my steps to freedom that I, like most of the world population that I observed, fell asleep to the true potential. I became a product of the resisting world, immersed in day-to-day experiences often troubled and fretting about tomorrow and never realizing the pure joy of living in the NOW. I learned to conform to the conditions created by collective mind of resistance that took form in this world.

By accepting less in mind, lesser experiences naturally take shape. Then, by continued focus, those lesser experiences become our individual worlds. As has become typical because of learned behavior, the bulk of our learning stems from book and/or classroom instruction; or by what others said or did; past experiences; or the expressions of society as interpreted by the media. We find that life had become little more than a mirror of those formed conditions. The relationship with self creates the relationship with all others. Although the opportunity exists to express from the strength of our Truth, as humans, we have learned to conform to weaknesses caused by resistance.

There is a significant purpose for each of us in this life beyond building business; a career; making money; earning paycheck to paycheck; forming relationships with others; winning some and losing some; and muddling around; and learning to cope amid chaos and conflict.

Why do we constantly experience chaos and conflict? Why is there no certainty in life when we may have learned that the Kingdom of God is at hand? How do we overcome the need for chaos and conflict? How do we create as beings with true potential with certainty and confidence? I sought responses to these questions and more to awaken from what seemed like an endless slumber.

    ~

Although this book is ostensibly a story of my personal rise to Truth, I cannot let the opportunity pass without offering my observation and summation of causes of the world conditions. It is especially vital considering the wake-up call that rocked the cradle of humanity amid the US incidents on September 11, 2001.

Despite the hate; uncertainty; despair; anger; lack; and fear that now, more than ever, appear to engulf the world, the potential exists for love; confidence; peace; joy; abundance; and trust. In fact, the seeming unrest and anguish responds to imperfect and baseless understanding, such as acceptance that we are merely human.

More than simply human, we each maintain the true potential (our capacity to be all we can be) to rise above the cause of tribulations, including the hate that turns to terror and flies in the face of humanity (as exemplified by planes that crashed into the World Trade Center, the field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon).

Often overlooked because of dramatic circumstances that seem to take over the life screen of humankind that appeared as scenes in an action movie, personal overcoming conflict and chaos remains our ultimate purpose. In fact, the state of overcoming and realizing our Truth is the basis for our supreme contribution to this world.

We maintain capacity for realizing our Truth, which is that we are inseparable from God, the activity of limitlessness consciousness. God is the infinite principle in action that we are endlessly and infallibly a part and from which we create our reality. From Truth, creation represents the boundless capacity to bring forth insight into fruition in all aspects of life.

Instead of living under the guise that you are merely a created being, you know that you are uniquely created. Rather than muddling in ignorance at the mercy of a perceived supreme being that calls the shots to your individual success and failure, you are aware that you are a unique expression inseparable from the Whole of God. As you realize your Truth, you know what you do in the way that you only do it. As such, you fill a need in this world to express, as well as to demonstrate and share. By your Truth, you are free to excel to incorporate all the human qualities with the divine being that you inherently are; i.e., the I AM.

Over the course of time, however, many of us, individually, as well as a society, forgot, or fell asleep to that potential. Despite the amnesia, our true capacity for love, peace, abundance, and joy continues; it merely lies dormant in the recesses of slumbering mind. Lethargic by all that has accumulated and often unsuspectingly ingrained in mind over the course of life journey, our resisting expressions represent the activity that shapes the results that appear, as chaos and conflict, in our individual world.

The results continue to build, with intensity, to the unfolding of extreme experiences that show up in the world, at large. Because of the resistance that takes occupancy, as part of our minds, we experience life in what appears as self-imposed bondage.

By our own creation, we dwell with the capacity to clear away the disorder by repairing breaks caused by mind and realize and express our Truth. The Infallible Way is synonymous with God. There is no separation. The Infallible Way represents the one presence and one power in the universe. It represents the way that we are each a part and that exists in each of us (inseparable), by which we create in response to consciousness. In the Infallible Way we create our needs (including life experiences) to identify and repair the breaks caused by mind to realize Truth.

All we become holds us from our true potential. Although our personal resistance delays our realization of Truth, it represents only a pause. Because of our innate nature (our Truth), we individually nest amid the Infallible creation to overcome resistance.
