    Confessions of a Serving Wench

    The Drover’s Inn. Scotland . 1715.

MY NAME IS MORAG, AND I’m here to serve—in more ways than one.

I’m a bawdy serving wench who is eager for pleasures of the flesh.

I delight in my lusty ways. I make no apologies.

This past year I’ve worked at The Drover’s Inn, doing whatever chores are asked of me, scrubbing, fetching and carrying, and occasionally attending any ladies who stop here and need help with their dress. Many travelers stop for ale or to rest here a while, and others meet here for no other reason but to enjoy one another.

When I began my work I discovered numerous secret passages and peepholes in the lodging rooms. They’d been made by someone long before, but I quickly set about learning each and every one—oh my, the things I have seen!

I discovered my lusty nature and embraced it. I found I like to look at people tupping one another whilst pleasuring myself. More than that, I yearned to be involved, and soon enough I was. I’ve been bedded by several of the guests at the inn. Most recently by Jessie, the Harlot of Dundee, and her Master, Gregor. They allowed me into their bed and toyed with me at length. It was immensely satisfying.

However, my greatest desire and curiosity was about two men who shared clandestine meetings at the inn. Duggan and James. In long passionate nights they pleasured each other. The idea of it sent me into a frenzy of arousal—I wished to be bedded by the both of them, and I was. So I have decided to reminisce about it, for it is my favorite tale.

It was Duggan who first caught my attention. A fine man, built large and sturdy, with thick, dark hair to his shoulders and a broad forehead and cheekbones. Duggan works in the yonder fields, and I’d been enjoying pleasant daydreams about the handsome field worker for some time. As far back as I could remember I’d looked fondly upon him whenever I had seen him at the market and at the kirk. Then I walked over the hills at the age of seventeen to seek work at The Drover’s Inn and I saw him laboring in the fields. I wondered then if he had a sweetheart. Then he started coming to the inn, to meet with his lover, James Grant.

Although he often scrutinized me and paused to chat a while, Duggan would eventually make his way to Mister Grant’s
