    Lost - Norman Sinclair

    Dutchess

    memories

    the only thing

    i do remember

    is a rose garden

    memory paints

    in pastel colors

    makes my face harden

    where’s the beauty

    gone tell me

    and don’t lie to me

    remembrance is

    so much different

    from reality

    lent

    can only see pictures

    of a time gone by

    up in dutchess

    but seen with my eye

    or through the lens

    of a camera banned

    on a photo i’ve seen

    a memory lent

    Little Mountain Creek

    Little river flow and run

bring your waters to the stream

people need to drink from you

use you as a transport beam

Ships are riding on your waves

from the village to the town

you don’t stop like all the ships

your waters run the whole way down

Until they kiss the ocean’s waves

    unite with them in harmony

then you, my little mountain creek

become part of the endless sea

    I-O

    licklicklicklicklicklicklick

    raindrops off my windowpane

    why are you
