Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. 13th December 1942

Northern France, Europe

Janet Berin might have just been a so-called simple country woman who served as a maid to a wealthy estate owner in Northern France but she wasn’t always like that. As a child she had dreamed of grand adventures in Paris, Marseille and she had loved her schooling. Her parents had tried to give her everything they could possible, and they gave a hell of a lot.

But when the capitulation of France happened in 1940, Janet had to make a choice. She could either stay in the newly occupied regions or go into the Free zone. She was a teacher at a local girl’s school and continued for a little whilst the Reich continued to consolidate its power, but when they wanted to convert the school into a base of spying operations.
