Hello, I'm Connor Whiteley, I am an 18-year-old who loves to write creatively, and I wrote my Brownsea trilogy when I was 14 years old after I went to Brownsea Island on a scout camp. At the camp, I started to think about how all the broken tiles and pottery got there and somehow a trilogy got created. Moreover, I love writing fantasy and sci-fi novels because you’re only limited by your imagination. In addition, I'm was an Explorer Scout and I love camping, sailing and other outdoor activities as well as cooking.Furthermore, I do quite a bit of charity work as well. For example: in early 2018 I was a part of a youth panel which was involved in creating a report with research to try and get government funding for organised youth groups and through this panel. I was invited to Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party and how some of us got in the royal photograph. Finally, I am going to university and I hope to get my doctorate in clinical psychology in a few years.

Theft of Independence - Connor Whiteley
THEFT OF INDEPENDENCE
Detective Amy Sawkins loved everything about the wonderful night, there was such a sense of magic, freedom and utter celebration in the air as all of Scotland celebrated their freedom.
Amy loved that Scotland, after centuries of slavery to England, was now free. It was amazing that decades of fighting peacefully, demanding freedom and standing up for the rights of Scottish people had finally given them their freedom.
Amy might not have been born in Scotland (she was born in awful England to her horror) but after living here for two decades and hating UK politics and how they abused Scotland so badly, she was extremely glad to be living in a free country.
Even now she had no idea why she moved to Scotland in the first place, she was perfectly okay in London, but she never wanted to be okay, she wanted to thrive, be happy and be loved. And that was why Scotland was her home, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
The smell of gunpowder shattered Amy’s celebration focus as she snapped back into the crime scene where she was, she didn’t want to be investigating a crime on this night. She wanted to be in the streets with her family, friends and boyfriend celebrating Scotland’s achievement.
But oh no, because
