Introduction
The Prophecy Series, a three-part adventure, is set in a fantastical world rife with elemental magic and mighty warriors. This novella, a short side adventure, introduces the world of Zodia and the central characters.
Chapter one
1
In a world parallel to Earth is a land where elemental magic reigns supreme and warriors train from birth. The world is called Zodia, a land where energy flows through the soil and into every living being. Where the trees hum to the rhythm of the wind and fire comes to life from fingertips. However, not all is well in this land full of wonder. Overhead hangs an ominous threat, a reminder that soon to come is a danger like no other. A threat prophesied through the generations. A warning that war and destruction will rip through the land and all its beauty. Yet a light will shine through the darkness of this time and drive out the enemy. They will know this light as the Chosen One. This person will be the savior, the strongest warrior among this land of fighters. Many have adventured to the land of Earth in search of the Chosen One, only to remain trapped, never to be heard from again. That is, until one Zodian warrior, Eli, is sent away to find their savior. Many thought he was lost to this far away land, but he returned triumphant. The Chosen One, or Tabatha, as Eli calls her, has come to their aid. In this Zodian land, she is learning how to wield her magic and embrace her strength before the eclipse of the Crimson Sun. Once this takes place, a portal will open, and a new enemy will emerge. However, training has come to a halt as the Chosen One teaches her newfound family about a holiday of new beginnings. Christmas, as she has called it, is upon them.
