It’s been awhile. It’s good to be back. Good to have you back as well.

Quite a few months have passed since the last issue. Apologies for that. Life got busy and priorities had to be shifted for a while. The publication schedule will be shuffled around a bit to accommodate.

But we’re back. That’s all that counts.

We’re going to launch a companion podcast in May so keep your eye on @BlackTreacleMag for the announcement. The format is going to be pretty simple: An introduction, a story or two, a review and perhaps an interview.

We have a story from a new Canadian writer, Star Spider, and a piece from UFO investigator & OOB explorer, Preston Dennett.

Hope you enjoy reading this issue. And check out the podcast when it arrives in May.

    Be seeing you.

She edges closer. Curled around the cracked base of her abandoned flower pot is a huge slug, sleek and iridescent in the patchy afternoon sun. Once, she would have worried about how to get rid of it, but there's no
