About this ebook
New York Times-bestselling team Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton invite readers to come hang out with them in their 130-Story Treehouse—the tenth book in the illustrated chapter book series filled with Andy and Terry's signature slapstick humor!
Andy and Terry live in a 130-story treehouse. (It used to be a 117-story treehouse, but they added another 13 stories.) It has a soap bubble blaster, a time-wasting level, a 13-story igloo, the GRABINATOR (it can grab anything from anywhere at any time), a toilet paper factory, and an extraterrestrial observation centre for observing aliens.
As it turns out, though, it’s Andy, Terry and Jill who are being observed—and then abducted—by a giant flying eyeball from outer space! At first they're excited to be going on an intergalactic space adventure, but when they arrive on Planet Eyeballia, they discover it's not at all a friendly place. Will the gang be able to escape and get back to Earth and write their book before time runs out?

"Will appeal to fans of Jeff Kinney and Dav Pilkey. . . . The wonderfully random slapstick humor is tailor-made for reluctant readers. . . . A treat for all." —Booklist on The 13-Story Treehouse

Reviews for The 130-Story Treehouse
11 ratings1 review
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A graphic novel for 8-12 year olds. Terry and Andy along with Jill end up in space in an intergalactic fight for eyeballs' entertainment. They also make a promise to one of the combatants who saved them to help save his planet. I think I needed to read the other 9 books for this to make a lot of sense. I understood it but it would have helped to know how they got to 130 stories in their treehouse. Also there are characters that it would have helped to know where they fit in instead of them just popping up--like the penguins. 8-12 year olds would enjoy the zaniness of this story (and probably the series.) As an adult it didn't live up to expectations.

The 130-Story Treehouse - Andy Griffiths
CHAPTER 1
THE 130-STORY TREEHOUSE
Hi, my name is Andy.
This is my friend Terry.
We live in a tree.
Well, when I say tree,
I mean treehouse. And when I say treehouse,
I don’t just mean any old treehouse—I mean a 130-story treehouse. (It used to be a 117-story treehouse, but we’ve added another 13 stories.)
So what are you waiting for?
Come on up!
We’ve got a soap-bubble blaster,
a non-stop dot level,
a 13-story igloo,
the GRABINATOR (it can grab anything from anywhere at any time),
an extraterrestrial observation center,
a time-wasting level,
a toilet paper factory (because you can never have too much toilet paper),
a giant juggling octopus,
a soft grassy hill, perfect for rolling down,
a super-long-legs level,
a TFB (that’s short for treehouse fire brigade),
a people-eating plant called Petal,
and the best bookshop-in-a-treehouse-in-a-tree- in-a-forest-in-a-book in the whole world!
In addition to being our home, the treehouse is where we make books together. I write the words and Terry draws the pictures.
As you can see, we’ve been doing this for quite a while now.
Things don’t always go according to plan, of course …
but we always get our book done in the end.
CHAPTER 2
BUZZ! BUZZ! BUZZ!
If you’re like most of our readers, you’re probably wondering if we’ve ever been abducted by a giant flying eyeball from outer space. Well, it’s funny you should be wondering that, because that’s exactly what happened to us just the other
