Boynton Dreams is the story of John Thibault, a depressed teenager bearing the outcome of his parent's divorce. The affluent life that he once knew no longer exists, and he struggles to deal with his abusive father's destructive ways and his mother's struggle with mental illness. Stuck in a dead-end job as a bookstore clerk, John fills the void
