Jon spoke to my team a few years ago, sharing the principles of living with intention. We were blown away by his passion and ability to help us identify and take action to change our professional and personal lives for the better. I’m still using several of the ideas today and seeing real results. Now, a few years later, Jon has continued to grow and is sharing even more of his learnings. If you’re looking for a real-world guide with easy application to take ownership and create a new future, this is the book for you.
—Josh Thompson
Senior Vice President, GM Onstar Insurance
I’m sure if asked, Do you want to grow?
, you’d answer yes. Most of us do. The challenge is we have not systematized an approach to our growth; we’ve not identified the principles to practice. In his wonderful book, Jon uses his own story and the lessons extracted, along with science and real-world examples to support your growth and to lay the foundation of principles you’ll likely weave into your approach to creating a life of resilience and fulfillment. Because after all, that’s what you’re here for. Peace.
—Danny Bader
Bestselling Author of Back to Life: The Path of Resilience
Jon’s storytelling reels me in. I’m there with him, see myself in him. I see and feel seen. The wisdom he gathered and wrapped into a simple, but not simplistic, framework is inspiring, actionable, and must-have knowledge for aspiring leaders in business and life.
—Mike Williams
Co-CEO Doing to Done, Author of Doing to Done, Co-author of Getting Things Done for Teens
I have known Jon for over a decade and with each interaction I am always left energized and empowered. With Intention has captured this same essence through Jon’s willingness to share the trials of his personal journey. When I got a copy of With Intention I couldn’t put it down. His stories are so relatable that this is one of those books that feels that it was written directly to the reader, and his systemized approach makes With Intention a must read.
—Eric Nichols
Head Men’s Soccer Coach, Bowling Green State University
With Intention is Jon’s way of living his mission; helping others (period). This work is a wakeup call to "pay intention" and don’t waste any more time. Jon literally applies a method that everyone can step through to know how to overcome and move forward. I’ve had a front row seat to witness Jon apply what he is sharing in this book to his life."
—Chris Shepherd
Husband, Father of 3 boys, Bible Study Leader & Speaker, Vice President, Center of Excellence - CCC Intelligent Solutions
Jon has created a simplified approach that can be used in all facets of life. If you’re a kid heading off to college or an executive of a major company, these five components will resonate and allow a deep dive into one’s self, personally or professionally. Jon’s life experiences are experiences many have faced, but unlike so many, he was able to identify, focus and create a solution that worked for him and will work for others. This is a must read for anyone who is in pursuit of more.

About the Author
FOREWORD
Attitudes are infectious. Spend time with a negative person—someone living without intention— and you’ll soon become a mess. Spend time with a positive person—someone living with intention—and you’ll soon become a masterpiece.
Jon Giganti is the latter, a giver and an outlier.
I’ve known Jon for nearly a decade and I’ve been impressed. I’ve invited him to my stage, and he’s spoken to my clients. Everyone leaves better— thinking clearer and living deeper. Jon has this effect on people.
He has flaws—we all do. His might be overthinking the future and underestimating his genius. But he does what he says and he lives with intention. Who does that?
When it came time to read his book, I knew it would be good. But when I read the final version, I was truly pleased.
This is his moment.
Jon is a student of success and a practitioner of personal growth. He synthesized the greats and he added to the conversation. I got caught up in his stories and mesmerized by his memories.
I know he’s onto something bigger than himself. Intention deficit disorder? Now that’s worth pondering. Read the back cover copy again. It’s deep and relevant and agitating.
That’s the trouble with truth. It sets us free, but it also hurts.
Jon serves up some raw truth in this book. Most people describe his style as refreshingly honest. He walks with authenticity, and for this reason, people love or loathe him.
Not everyone is ready for truth.
