    Scares of Monsters Past

Sometimes when the moon is full, the shadows on the wall

Take on ghastly, scary forms and start to scare us all.

Are monsters real? we start to ask. "I think I see one there,

The awesome glowing ink immersed us all in brilliant green.

"Now, here’s a tale of monsters past, back in the feudal age.

When castles, knights and dragon fights were all the tall tale rage.

There was a boy named Newton, with his rosy cheeks of pink--"

The book opened up wider still, and then suddenly
