About the Author
Chapter 1: Stick of A Spaniard In A Cannon And Throwing Him Into The Sea
When the fortress was in the hands of the Spaniards, they were bombing the minarets of the mosques in the time of the prayers calling (Adane) They did this just for amusement. But when we settled in Algiers, they stopped this heinous behavior worrying us. Thus, made them unhappy. When we took up this fortress, it came to me the detained artillery commander who was the first responsible for the minarets’ destruction and for the assassination of several ‘Adane callers’. I told him: " Oh infidel, you are an excellent sniper. You ruin any minaret with a single shell. Look now how it will be the true sniping ".
Then, I ordered to place him in a cannon mouth and throw him into the sea. Also, I beat the neck of his assistant and ten of his artillery soldiers. I put the rest in the jail. We didn’t have any need for this citadel. I mined and detonated it. After that, I gathered 30 000 infidel prisoners in Algeria; I decided to use them in construction of a Waves broker connecting the fortress with the harbor using its rocks. That way, we could be made a magnificent and secure harbor for Algiers city. My seizing of the castle makes Carlos, the Spain king, frantic even as he cut the head of the emissary who notified him.
He announced: "The confiscation of the garrisons is the working of the glorious emperors like me. How a sea thief like Barbarossa dared to pick up my castle? In the time when I conquered the France king and putting him in one of Madrid dungeons, I couldn’t push a pirate like this? Surely, the original cause for that returns to the incapability of my commanders in land and sea. You place my face on soil, go out now." It was one of my habits to invite the kuffar commanders, captains, priests, artists, governors, who fell hostages, to talk with them and argue about various matters.
I didn’t ask them shortly to extract the information from them, but I was communicating with them as a friend perform. With that strategy, I gained from them precious clue. Even I was always aware of the vital secrets unknown in Europe palaces. The truth that I should mention here that I
