About this ebook

When Roesha crossed paths with the Guardian, she was confronted with an earth-shattering revelation that left her world spinning on its axis – she was not of Earthly origin.

Secrets, dark and hidden, began to unravel around her, secrets that her father had shrouded in silence.

She was supposed to blend in, another teenager navigating the tumultuous landscape of adolescence. She was not meant to be a celestial princess from the distant world of Dun. Yet here she was, an entire planet looking towards her to ascend their throne, their hopes pinned on her leadership.

However, the throne she was destined to inherit was under the grip of an ominous force, a shadow that had ensnared the grand Jaha Palace when the alien virus launched its assault on Dun. Their realm was teetering on the edge, their once-peaceful rule now a distant echo across their lands.

Could Roesha turn the tide? Could she be the beacon they desperately needed?

The answers lie in the heart of her journey, a journey that would span galaxies, a journey fraught with peril. Her story unravels in Dun Wars: The Takeover. Join Roesha as she embarks on this unprecedented interstellar adventure, her destiny poised on the brink of the extraordinary!

    BIOGRAPHY

    CHAPTER ONE

Roesha proceeded to beam at the intruder, who had invaded her privacy. His communications had sounded convincing at first, but because she considered herself a mortal being, she was an imaginative creature. She didn’t trust any of his phrases. Roesha stomped out of the kitchen livid at what she heard and she couldn’t phone the cops.

Princess! Galel wouldn’t let her go. He required her; Dun needed her. He understood that the information that he had just given to her was much to take in all at once, but Roesha had no choice. She needed to absorb it as promptly. As he strolled behind her, it reminded Galel of the way he’d reacted when his father had told him of the darkest secrets of Dun. He had found it strenuous to take them all in; at a point, he had wanted to give up. But the passion for reestablishing tranquility and order on the planet motivated him, so he kept pushing. Finding the princess born to save Dun. She was the last key needed to unravel an enigma that Keith and his squad of heartless representatives had masked.

Can I give you something? Galel persisted. Even after she figured out that her skin products had disrupted the Nano-chip embedded in her as a child, the princess was intransigent. There was only one method to disprove her humanity that she had yet to attempt.

Will you let me be if I listen to you? appealed Roe. Making such a vow was arduous, but Galel had no choice. He assured her he would follow her into the yard, where he had hidden his spacecraft.

She walked behind him allowing him to go first after all. When they emerged from the building, a frigid wind caressed their heads like an invisible drone from Dun. They ignored it and continued walking until Galel halted.

His purplish eyes flashed an expression of gratification as he was convinced beyond plausible doubt that she would believe him and would be determined to know who she was and why her parents had abandoned her as a child. Anger, anguish and consternation all raged inside of her.

This is from Dun," he said, dragging some wildflowers over to the object. He revealed an elongated brown object by pulling some wildflowers which were longer than the spacecraft. The spacecraft was ancient and somewhat rusty, but it worked well. He had taken the greatest craft with him to avoid drawing attention in space.

He knew that Keith and his council had been looking for his father for years. The last time they’d seen Keith was at the massacre and conquest when he was killed. If he lived a grandiose lifestyle, it would be exposed and lead Keith to identify the members who swore an oath to the second mutiny.

When she scrutinized the spacecraft, she almost stumbled over a rock. Roesha had seen UFOs on television before, but nothing compared to this one. Apart from the intricate design and inscription in an emblematic language that reminded her of archaic Egyptian hieroglyphics, there was something fascinating about it. She thought she had seen it in her dreams.

What or who am I? she repeated the question as Galel had not answered her back twice.

You’re Princess Grace, the heir to the throne of Dun. You’re a descendant of the powerful Sanda clan. Your Father was the Ruler before his brother murdered him to ascend to the throne. Your people need you. He repeated.

Her legs were paralyzed, her mind was galloping with confusion. Roesha’s breathing increased as she ran closer to the spacecraft. Her slender fingers brushed the spacecraft as she listened
