#1 The differences between the white groups in Boston seemed to disappear when it came to opposing the integration of their neighborhoods by Blacks. Whites were brought together by their hatred of Blacks, which was caused by ignorance and a lack of understanding due to the propagation of untruths.

#2 The tension between white and black Americans peaked in the 1970s with the integration of public schools. When it was discovered that I had poor eyesight, I was able to get glasses, and I went from an F student to a D student.

#3 I was the only Black student in my class from the fifth grade until the second half of the eighth grade. I went from the worst student in the class to the best, and many of my white classmates were shocked by my success.

#4 The teacher’s comments were racist, but they could have been referring to the students who came from two-parent households and had certain social and economic advantages.
